i usually put lol when i think something is slightly amusing...i'm not usually laughing. i often put 'haha' or something too more so than lol.

I despise the phrase "lol". There are people I know who use it out of habit, and it's literally every 3 words or so. Even it's something serious.

"I have a knife to my throat, I'm going to kill myself."
"lol really? why would you do something like that lol?"


It's very annoying.

Usually i only say lol whne I think something is funny not when i really laugh. And the weird thing is i know it stands for laugh out loud yet i tend to pronounce it lul. It's the smae thing with AIM i just say aim. [/random]

I say Lol in pretty much every sentences i use online. Cos its just a habit ( Just right now i felt like typing Lol but i didnt )

Half of the time i really am laughing out loud tho.

well.. i never really DO laugh out LOUD when im chatting really, but when i smile or something i type lol..... or to show that i understand something was a joke i say lol (or to tell the other person that i was joking)....................... or just because i have nothing else to say and i really want to break the ice or something.....

oh my god. i say "lol" like after every word i type practily. i do iteven if what i'm talking about isn't funny. in fact one time my friend got mad at me for using it whenwe were having a fight. he was like ITS NOT FUNNY.

I tend 2 use lol a lot. I'm usually laughing out loud 4 real. When im not laughing i use haha. I tend 2 find many things funny.

hmmm I don't use it all that often ....I ussualy do a "haha" or "lmao" if it's trully incredibly funny but not lol and if I do it's ussualy just a conversation filler...I once said itin real life making fun of someone but yeah...

Not really..I literally laugh when I say "HAHA" but when I say Lol, yeah I guess I don't actually laugh. To be honest, I hate that saying, I only use it when I've already used HAHA Lmao or w/e too many times.
