Hmm... I've heard of yaoi, with a subcategory under it called shonen-ai, which is lighter yaoi, I believe.

Hey, does Earthians count as yaoi? Because I was watching it on International Channel back about 5 years ago, and it was a pretty good miniseries. There were only 4 episodes to it, but that anime was really deep.... The emotions and relationships in it were powerful. There was a sex scene, but it wasn't that risque--just a slight one where the guy was kissing the other guy.

Anyway, that's probably the closest thing I've ever watched that was yaoi...

I'm not so into the whole yaoi thing but hey whatever floats your boat. Some people are into it, some are not. I don't see anything wrong with it. No need to hate on it. If you don't like it then just don't watch or read it!

I like yaoi. I'm a huge fan. I rp it with my best friend on AIM and we have a blast. XD Hmm, I don't care for Yuri but I won't bash it because.. I just won't. It'd be like bashing Utena, which is technically Soujo-ai.. o.o;

And technically, yaoi = male/male sex and shounen-ai = male/male sex. Thus making Soujo-ai = female/female relationship and yuri = female/female sex. So.. umm.. yea.

Since im a dude i prefer of whats opposite to that theyre practically the same right? with out the parts and all. I dont think it's bad. Plus i watch alot of Jrock PVs Aaaand I see stuff like that but i dont mind.

I love yaoi. I won't go into it too much but I like yaoi fanart/fanfiction with an anime that particularly good amount of guys (i.e. Yu-Gi-Oh! Gundam Wing.)

Frankly, I like all types of love (yaoi, yuri, het) cuz it's all pretty much the same except for the SMEX. =]

shonen-ai in japanese literally means "boy love", its basically yaoi with younger guys, personally i prefer yaoi

Yaoi is okay. I like it, but I'm not entirely INTO shounen-ai manga. I could only read the 1st 3 pages of Gravitation until I fell deathly bored

Aw, but that's the fun part! You take it to school and people steal it from you and immediately give it back and tell you that you're weird. XD Okay, maybe that's just me. Meh. First volume of Gravitation sucks, I don't like it. Gets better from there tho... I still like FAKE the best.
But I like manga more than anime in any case. Poor Dee looks terrible in the anime. Like, a lot more. Hence the 600$ of manga in my room eating my bookcase. -sigh- Because they outgrew the poor cardboard box... I really need a new one.

I like yaoi. Nothing to "graohic," though. If you know what i mean. "Only the Ring Finger Knows" and "Gravitation" are the best. "X/1999" kinda seems like yaoi...because of Fuma always...errr...touching Kamui...But it's not...or at least i don't think so....

I'm really picky about yaoi. It has to have a good storyline in it, just like any other manga/anime I entertain myself with. Male/male gratuitous sex just isn't too appealing to me. And ESPECIALLY not without a good storyline.
