The one thing that I notice a lot within a lot of the school's now,

is the pants trend, it used to be everyone wore jeans, now everyone will wear pants.. or plaid shorts ><

Also the girls&guys carrying around bags, instead of backpaks.

At my school there was once a trend where a lot of people wore those "Vote For Pedro" shirts from Napoleon Dynamite. In fact, Napoleon Dynamite entirely became a trend in the school. So much that the school even put aside a day for "Napoleon Dynamite" day in which everyone wore anything "Napoleon Dynamite."

It was quite a sight. blink.gif

A large majority of people wore "Vote For Pedro", "Gimme Your Tots", and people wore chapstick around their necks. I believe there was even a person who did the complete Napoleon Dynamite dance.

...I didn't do anything that had to do with that trend.

Oh God... huh.gif I did now that I think about it. I wore my hair in a sideways ponytail... [look at my gender] tongue.gif

i understand if it happens over time and you wear them but buying them like that is just absurd and takes away the authenticity of the rugged lifestyle.

MF Doom despises all trends. MF Doom is wealthy for MF Doom does not waste money on clothing when he already is clothed.

I had somewhat long hair in sixth grade. Then I got a hair cut and made it short. It was quite a difference.

OMG I was just about to say those! hug.gif *hugs Val*

Cowboy boots are... EW. I thougt they looked horrible in the first place, since most people that I see who wear them can't really pull them off and look nice with them. Very few people look okay in them, around where I live. Ruffle skirts... they've been dead for almost a year now. :P

Bohemian? Like... cultural? If it's what I think it is, it's still going, but it's become too common nowadays and is becoming dead, but hey CA isn't too updated on fashion. The East Coast is wayyy more up-to-date. ;x

Ripped jeans are SOOOO out, imo. Everyone has them, everyone can MAKE them. It's very simple whistling.gif What happened to the casual look? Ripped jeans look like you're trying to hard, plus costs more. -_-"

Sequined belts and shoes. They blind my eyes.
Puffy eskimo-like jackets and boots. And I live in San Diego. Wtf.
Legwarmers with flip flops.
Expensive ripped jeans. Why waste so much money?
Guys wearing girl pants. They're GIRL pants.
Guys growing out their hair, sometimes up to their shoulders. Get a haircut?

Denim vests, even though Sienna and Kate are out there doing it. I think they look horrible in them, and I don't care what the magazines say, it's a horrific look.

I absolutely hate anything completely covered with sequins.. you look at them, and you're like "AGH! MY EYES!"

And I don't really like the whole "girls wearing bright obnoxiously hot pink ties" thing. It's not that they're ties, it just that they're.. really bright pink and clash horribly with almost everything.

And like almost every other person who already posted, I hate ripped jeans. Why not rip them yourselves? Jeez, the companies even act like it's expensive to rip jeans. It's so simple even I could rip them, me being the klutz I am. And I especially hate miniskirts that just HAPPEN to have holes in THAT place. Yes, THAT place. Ugh. pinch.gif
