I just purchased the Criterian Collection presentation of Martin Scorsese's The Last Temptation of Christ. That makes for my second Criterian Collection. My first was Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.

Criterian DVDs are great, but expensive. I plan on getting more soon though.

Also, I picked up Richard Linklater's Slacker on VHS. It was $5. The Last Temptation of Christ was $9.99.

Used DVDs are fun.

I just purchased the italian art film Baba Yaga. Based on erotic comic strips, the film lost an audience after being marketed as a sexploitation horror film.

Also, I recently recieved Federico Fellini's 8˝ (1963) as a gift. It's my second favorite film in all the world and I'm so happy to own the beautiful and jam-packed Criterian Collection DVD. That makes for three own Criterian DVDs (Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas, 8 1/2, andThe Last Temptation of Christ).

I just got The Royal Tenenbaums and The Life Aquatic on Criterian Collection DVD. Very pleased. Definately Wes Anderson's best work.

I also purchased Cabin Fever and a limited edition two-disc pine box set of The Wicker Man. Very cool.

I love my DVD collection. Oh, so much.

I really need to buy that. I opted out when the first bare-bones DVD was released cause we all knew a special edition wasn't far behind. I can't wait.

That's probably the best decision you can make as a consumer.

The special features on the first disc are AWESOME. I still haven't watched the actual extended movie yet. I've only watched the theatrical version.

I can't wait for Sin City 2!

I just picked it up last night. Something was wrong with Disc 1 and I was very distraught. I recall retreating to my computer to play Ragnarok Online. This morning, I went out to exchange it for another copy. Got my new copy and I'm about to watch it. Hope this one works out for me.
