I said this in my old post in the middle of march, but yeah, they wore them at my old school all the time.
I don't know if they took it seriously or not, but there was that select group of gangster/ghetto kids that would chew gum, spit it out, and put the aluminum wrapper on the top row of their teeth, and then run around the school laughing. I found it amusing

Its hilarious that broke-ass kids front by wearing grills. Not only are they ugly, but if you're grill isn't worth 50 Gs, why are you going to front like you have so much expensive jewelry on your body? I'm in Texas. This is the home of grills. Everyday, at school, on street, in the mall or even at work; I see someone with a grill.
I'm moving back to the Northeast. |

HA my school is so ghetto, we have "hustlers" selling grills. They're actually made out of tinfoil, but poeple buy them. I think the trend started from that song "Smile for me, baby...I wanna see your grill...you wanna see my WHAT?!?! Your grill! Yo-yo-your grill!"

Its definitely a southern deal more than anything. If you're not familiar with "the hood," and you don't understand how important materialism is to people who don't have a lot, then the whole concept of putting 200 grand in your mouth is pretty absurd. But what better way to boast such an irresponsible use of money other than to put it in your mouth?
