I'd be like"why are you guys only making this for christmas, what about the festival of lights??" Yup I'm not hindu but I do know what the festival of lights is.... Day #1 of fol: DO NOT go out of your house....the fol starts halloween, poor hindu kids, they get no candy:( Day #2 of fol: yea get out of your house and put up crazy lights on Nov.1, and the peple will be like "What weirdos, they don't get out of there house on Halloween and think christmas is on Nov. 1 Day #3 of fol: Ummm...I forgot...but I think you spend the whole day in church asking the spirits for stuff  So Mr.God, go make a "festival of lights thread", because it's only fair you participate in every religion

its..kinda annoying actually. please, pleaseeeee dont yell at me for anything that im about to say. im just speaking my mind.
first off, not everyone on CB is christian, catholic, or even believes in god. second, there is more than just christmas as a holiday this winter. third, whoa, i just had de ja vu. anyways.. i personally do NOT like christmas. i was catholic (and im chinese) but then stopped believing in god alltogether. just to me, it seemed so far fetched to have so many other gods that "exist" but only believeing in one "god." not to mention, christmas is the time of year for many teens to be greedy, write wishlists knowing their parents will get them EVERYTHING, and still not thinking about anyone but themselves. since i dont believe in god anymore, ive blocked all presents. i refuse to accept any present or hand out anything to friends. again, this is a personal thing, i think that its stupid to celebrate christmas with PRESENTS if youre not even christian! its like, "hey, its present time. give me a present. its christmas." thats not the meaning..its the celebration of the birth of christ. GET IT THROUGH YOUR MINDDDD. arg. ok, the end. again, this is just what i think. please..dont yell at me. but other than that, happy holidays everyone |
