How did your parents feel when you told them that you were either bi, gay, or lesbian?

I'm straight, but my parents would probably be shocked and wonder how the next generation with my last name is going to last..

Yeah, pretty much the same here. But, I'm sure they would eventually learn to deal with it.

I have two good friends(one boy & one girl) that are each homosexual. My guy friend's mom jokes around w/ him about it & she doesnt really care all that much, but I think she saw it coming. The girl's parents weren't mad either. They dont treat her different. & she went all out like cut her hair & everything

I'm straight, but..

My dad's best friend is gay, so my dad would be totally cool with it. My mom on the other hand might be a little surprised.

My mom's been nagging me not to be a "lesbian".. but I'm not a lesbian. She's just a little paranoid. That's all.

Hypathetically speaking, Id be kicked out of my house again for who knows how long. My dad would go crazy, speaking his ignorant nonsense. And my mom would mumble yeah and uh huh and try to diss me but then falter in the middle of her sentence, sounding stupid. (:

Well my sister's lesbian, and we have no idea if my mom and dad know or not. But I think they know, they just won't say anything.

I'm bisexual but I cant tell my parents... they're the biggest homophobes I've ever met and are MAJOR gay haters.

I might tell them some day... I used to say I'd tell them when I got a gf.... but I have one now and I still dont think I'll tell them.

idk... maybe I'll save it for when they're really pissed at me about something... just to distract them. lmao

Haha my situation would be the other way around. My dad would be understanding whereas my mum would shun me and kick me out. -_- My mum is so unbelievably intolerant!

i don't think she'd care.
i mean, if i told her i was lesbian.
but if i was bi or something, she'd be like WTFZZZZZ
'cause my mom freaks out whenever I'm with guys. It's either she's TOO paranoid, or she wants me to be lesbian. blink.gif

A normal person honestly won't tell their parents that he/she is homosexual/bisexual.

But IF that ever happens to me, I think they'll probably be totally mad at me and try to transform me back to straight.
