 i dont know what it is. i was looking at one of greg martin's (the space guy) walkthroughs and then i just started..playing around. obviously theres a lot of stuff i have left to do, and its taken about 2 hours to get to this point. so.. yea. im trying to make an entire space scene. edit:// smaller version. because id end up using this size anyway.  ok, im pretty sure i give up. this is it (on the starfield.. and thumbbed, of course)

nope it is.
thats what i have left to do. it kept looking bad, so i kept blurring it. trust me, i keep having to relook at it. its kind of sad, really. but o well. it was a distraction. and i think that if i resize it to a much smaller size, itll look better. |

If you're going to be blurring it a lot and everything, best thing to do would be to start off really large (probably 4 or 5 times as large in this case), resize, and sharpen to bring out a little more detail.
Some stars in the background would be nice as well. |
