American anime is totally different from the good ol' anime. Anime shows that were brought from Japan and were dubbed to be put here are still anime. Teen Titans is americanized anime. I don't even think is it anime.

It shouldn't be considerede anime because it's not anime. Anime means animation in Japanese, which is basically Japanese animation. American animation is not Japanese animation. Therefore, it is not anime.

Cartoons have changed over the years.. Cartoons from the past were much better!(in my opinion) i luv betty boop by the way ^-^But now animators of today try to "copy" off the japanese anime, instead of developing their own style THAT TICKS ME OFF!  Popeye was cool to, i LOVE POPEYE!

it should if it shares the same charactistics (miss-spelled) as the anime in japan, but it should be called us-anime or something in that sort, because its not really orginal

Naruto is awesome and it is from Japan. And Anime is Japanese Animation, so if it was made in America, it's not Anime.
