Well, Im kinda bored and Im stuck through hwk so out of random Im just askinng this question: are friends neccessary? and if yes or no, Why?

Well, friends are a necessity. Friendship is determined by your level of trust with a person. Its when you can talk to someone and they understand you. That includes parents and other family members. So really, if you have no friends, you are isolated from everyone. That would drive anybody insane.

If nobody had friends, imagine how cold this world would be.. Almost every other day i need someone to talk to about other people or current events or just.. stuff.

i believe that friends are necessary. you don't have to have boat loads of friends, just at least a few people that you can talk to, to help you figure out life and broaden your mind with new thoughts from actual people.

if you just spent time with just yourself and/or your family you'd only have their thoughts in your head...and if your family is anything like mine, i would have ended up a racist.

I defintely think that friends are necessary. Having at least one friend could change your life forever. And yeah, I'm pretty much agreeing with what chii said. Imagine going to school without anyone to talk to, nobody to sit with at lunch, no partners to choose from on projects, it's pretty lonely. I thought I didn't need friends, but feeling lonely like that everyday will change your mind.

i wouldnt say friendS necessarly, but someone who u can trust and talk to. and friends arent the only people u can do that with.

anyways from my point of view , i do think they are significant , but sometimes friends arent enough .

I don't think so, when I moved to a different state, everyone was mean to me because i wore black. I survived without friends for a year.

yes. they are if we didnt have them then i dont think thier would be such a thing as a world. friends create who you are, your personality, your beliefs, your style, your life. Everyone has a friend...real or not. They're wouldn't be anything...i think. No one to talk too. no one to listen to your complaints. no one to hold your hand. no one to pick you up. no one to laugh with. no one to cry with. Friends in general could be anyone even your parents... hard to explain. but having friends creates you. like a seed which blossoms into a tree and branches out. ehh bad way of putting it but yopu all know what i mean :)

In some ways yes, but in others no. Most of the time they don't, but you do get the select few that lay a great positive impact on you.

I don't know...but I think having a couple of friends is worthwhile. Even if its just one person at least its someone.

Yes I believe we NEED friends. Humans by nature are social creatures and need relationships (whether it be platonic like friends or not).

You need a minimum of one in order to share your own little secrets, complain, yadda yadda yadda.
If you want more than a friend, then it is different.

Simply it is like this: You NEED ONE friend, and you WANT MORE friends.

If people had no friends then no one would have any problems other than family issues. It would be almost too perfect. And they shape who you are. Without them, you'd be nothing.

I don't think I could get out of bed knowing I didn't have any friends. Maybe they aren't 100% neccessary, but they make the day easier to go through.

I think you can live without friends, but without them, life would be really boring..
From experience I can say, life with friends is very different from life without friends.. If I hadn't had friends a couple of months ago, I would probably be dead by now..

friends are good to have at least one good friend. someone to talk to or hang out with. friends can be very helpful esp. if you have a problem and friends sometimes can be easy to make and last a life time.

My friends keep me sane... so yes, definitely.
