I've never heard the "mmmhmmkthanxbye" deal or however it goes...

but i do like to say "kthxbi" or "kthxdye". I don't do it to be arrogant or conceited. I just think it's humorous.

Well, I've never seen anyone use mmhmmkthnx. I tend to say mmkay a lot. I like the way it sounds (that word reminds me of South Park).

It does annoy me when people use kthnx & mhm, although I tend to use it on people that annoy me just to piss them off.

supreme supreme: inside that post it says
supreme supreme: Distressing combination of individual monstrosities, isn't it?

first off, we have our "mmhmmk," or what's better spelled as "mmhmmkay." This is apparently the worse version of "mmmmmmkay." Now, I can deal with "mmmmmkay" so long as it's not overused, but "mmhmmkay"? Not so much.

Then, "kthanx" or "kthanxbi," even "kthanksbye" or any other spelling combo is essentially my biggest pet peeve at the moment. It's so arrogant and concieted sounding, and frankly I find it obnoxious. Like you're going to listen to my point but now you have no right to say anything because I am just that self-centered. Kthanx.

supreme supreme: NIGGA SHUT THE f**k UP!!!!!!!!!!!

LOL i'm sorry.

If you type "kthxbye" or something along those lines to annoying people, you're just going to be more annoying that those people are.

Oh yes, ohh yes. It sort of vexes me when other people use it in an arrogant way, but when I use it to annoy my cousin, it's not so bad.
I love making my cousin mad. xD We basically throw insults and comebacks at each other, lol.

It must not be too annoying because everyone keeps typing it. laugh.gif

Kind of like those people who are annoyed about bad grammar and spelling, and then they turn around and misspell a word, and they are like " I was working on trying to type faster" making it justifiable. biggrin.gif Im not going to mention any names though. whistling.gif

Punctuation errors make me twitch. I probably made a topic more applicable to this at some point, but someone deleted my account so I can't tell. _dry.gif But yeah, it's not that hard to tell the difference between "its" and "it's." We should have a pretty good grasp of that well before we're out of elementary school. This may be slightly less elementary, but it also irks me when people don't get that periods in most instances)go inside quotation marks. If you're British I'll cut you some slack because the rules are different (goddamn I wish they'd use more double quotes), but the rest of you have no excuse and need to get it right because it really isn't that hard.
