READ IT...AFTER YOU READ IT,IT WONT SEEM AS LONG AS IT LOOKS



When i grow up i want to make cartoons or anime.Have you ever stared at a tv and see how bad or good the animation is?how they make the characters turn in circles or jump or breathe.i always wanted to make something good.I dont want to make something like South Park cuttin up pieces of paper and pasting them.thats too easy,even i could do it.but i dont.i want to be famous for what i do when i grow up.You know what the 2 Greatest Anime of all time is?Dragonball Z and Naruto.

Im not just saying that because i like it,it really is.its the most popular anime of all time.besides,i used to like dbz but it got dumb.You'll Know what im talking about if you watch naruto.i always keep close attention and i see lots of mistakes.

i once saw zabuza with a cross on his headband.and all the way in the background of a cartoon called ed edd and eddy,ed had no nose.in billy and mandy,the chocolate sailors episode when billy was a chocolate,they showed him as a human and the next seen they show him as a chocolate.they mess up to much.in Naruto and Dragonball z,its perfect......the Animation.I Always Worry and im always depressed because how can anyone make something so wonderful?!

i remember when i was going to quit drawing but when i Watched Naruto,it Turned everything around.it made my decision for the future.im still learning animation.im studying sprite sheets(u know....sprite sheets....look it up on google) and im always using windows movie maker and stop and freezing and looking at every scene of naruto.see how they move.how do the make the background so detailed?!how do they make clouds move?how do they make the whole body turn?

The most difficult Naruto Opening theme i know is Seishun Kyosokyoku Watch it and see how the smoke dissapears,how they turn.how they fade.how the spin their weapons,nejis aura.how they make the sunlight,how thier body moves.....how do they draw such incredible characters?i want to make anime or cartoon history....just like these guys that made naruto and dbz did.....who knows...u might be reading a post of the future prodigy of animation....

it's great that you have a dream

it'll be hard to break into the business...even if your cartoon/anime is really good it can be overlooked. sometimes the timing is off or it doesn't get enough promotion or the right kind of promotion.

not too many people notice the flaws, people just watch to watch, not pick apart things. you're kind of young...in time you'll learn all the tricks that come with animation.

Many jobs like this are hard to find. Although if you really want to be it, if you're willing to work hard, it will always work out. Just never give up.

ANIMATORS GET PAID A LOT.
But they have a very hard job, as you know, drawing frame after frame after frame. But I guess if they're professional they're used to it, right?

if you think that anime got dumb, no offense, but after a couple years your will be nothing as well. its just like pokemon. it lasted about 3 years and the only people who play it now are the kids at lunch. its just a cycle. i dont know what to tell you now that i just put you down, but maybe try cartooning something else or make up your own type of cartooning.

It's not messing up. People review it over and over and they probably deliberately did it and even if they didn't, they do better than you!

And about South Park, I'm sure you can't do any better than them. It's not the animation that makes it awesome, but the ingenuity of COMEDY. Please stop insulting other shows and their animation. It's just ignorant.

If you want to get good at something, respect the people who have gotten far in the field of animation and see what they can do. It's good that you have a dream, but the way you presented it was very self-centered in my opinion.

wow you are so lucky you have such a plan for your life! you know exactly what you want to do. just don't give up! you can get there with a little practice, but like Paradox of Life said, please don't insult other shows in the process. who knows? maybe in a few years, those shows will be the ones you'll be saying have the best animation

haha!how funny.u rite.oh yeah,i had a lecture from my mom about having a girlfriend.its been a week now.i told her i need a scanner for my work on the cpu.she say what do you do.i said animation.see mom,i have a job already.she got kinda mad at me cuz she thought that....u know,i have a so called "job" and a girlfriend.so you know.....ugh,parents dont understand.ive been animating since 6th grade so now its been 3 years.im getting pretty good.all i do is draw in school.my grades are real high and stuff.so i think im going to be successful.this is something im determined to do.do you guys watch paranoia agent on adult swim?it was an episode about making cartoons.they told us what producers do and stuff.this lady colored it all in,this guy drew it,this guy made the background,people do the voices.the only reason its hard for me is because i work on my own.u know how long it takes me to make 2 minutes of animation,and all that good stuff?....9 hours.... but it got lost somewhere out there......so most things can be accomplished with team.so one question of mines is does the person that draws the characters and animate make the story as well?

Yes i know what you mean. The artist behind Naruto seem to be very accurate. No matter what angle the scene is in the drawing still looks the same. Unlike other hit artists like Takahashi-sensei and Takaya-sensei their drawings look different in some angles.

but you know, you shouldn't be so hard on yourself. The sunlight and all those smoke effects are special effects done on the computer. All the artist has to do is make a non-moving picture of it and they edit and stuff. Plus the artist is most likely WAY older than you. So maybe once you grow up you can be as great.

I am 13 right now and my art teacher says I have talent. My only problem is I don't know how to do shading and stuff. They told me to take lessons but as a person of my standards I like it better if I learn all by myself.

I am planning to make a manga too. Sure I started it when I was YOUNG but I still keep them so that when I am legally able to draw well, I can judge my mistakes and make them better. It's good to have an optimistic potential. Keep it so you can live a happy life in the future.

oh.i thought they had to draw each frame of smoke.haha,cool,one thing i dont have to worry about.and i just remembered.....a fortune teller,shes accurate...she said when im 22,im going to own my own company.....farewell dreams...but arent they accurate?most fortune tellers?you see...he said i was the smartest in math which is true because i have algebra bc and my brothers in 9th grade got algebra bc....he said my brother had like....this thing on his....well u dont want to know and guess what...its there!ewwww.his twin too.so...maybe i can prove to myself she is wrong.

people USED to do every frame...maybe you HAVE to draw each frame of smoke but once you're an adult you'll already know enough on how to make really cook effects in the palm of your hand..i mean i know it seems impossible now but when i was a kid, i thought playing the violin was hard but now i take high school lessons...so don't think so pessimistically

hang in there and keep learning....there will be lots to learn and do but you will make it, just keep trying.
