i honestly am running out of ideas. my boyfriend bores me to death sometimes cuz everything we do is so routinely. like i hang out at his house a lot and MOST of the time he's playing his dumb game World of Warcraft on his computer. I wish i could destroy his computer sometimes...that's how bad it is. anyone have any ideas how i can "spice" up the relationship? my friends say i should dump him cuz he's boring now, but i still love him even though he drives me insane a lot. so help please! thanks!

It's not really his fault the relationship is getting boring.. relationships are a two-people thing. If you feel like the momentum is slowing down, maybe he's thinking the same thing. Judging from his actions, he seems to be bored as well. Why would he rather play Warcraft than spend time with you? ermm.gif

Kinda sounds like my relationship with my boyfriend, but whenever I go over, he doesn't even touch the computer unless we're both looking on it or something. He really should be spending more time with his girlfriend than on the computer, so I agree, talk to him about it and tell him how you feel (neglected?).
But, if you want to "spice" up your relationship, I suggest going on dates to places you've never been to before. Do some new things, try new foods, etc. Surprise each other. But, if he doesn't seem to care, then I really think you should dump him. You should be happy and satisfied in a relationship, not bored, no matter how much you love him.

i don't blame him.. World of Warcraft is AWESOME!

maybe you should ask him to g to the park and do something more "outdoor"

hehe when my brother is playing Counter Strike in the pc, and his gf is there, she'll sit on his lap and they'll play together (i felt sickened watching them)... maybe you should do the same?

instead of always hanging out at his house, why not try hanging out at yours or go out to the mall, the park or somewhere you know the both of you will spend alot of time together

but i dont think you can do tat with world of warcraft haha, its just that cs is about shooting so i guess it can be more entertaining having your gf sit on your lap and mess around with that then warcraft lol.
anyway the relation thing is a 2 person thing you cant expect him to do it all, what have you done to be more exciting?

I think that's kinda lame if he is just ignoring you on the computer while you're at his house I think that you should just tell him how you feel maybe he feels the same way. If you still love him alot then try doing things yourself like going other places and doing new things happy.gif

sounds like me and my bf but instead of the computer, its my dog >.< all his attention goes to my stupid dog, that bastard. Well I had a talk with him last night and after we are done with football and volleyball, we are going to chill alot more, do more things, etc etc etc

and its Ramadan right now so thats also another reason why its boring now

i think that if you take notice on the things that
he likes to do
then he'll take notice on the things you wanna do

play the game with him
and maybe eventually
you guys will do something different

yeah i've tried talking to him about it, but a lot of the times it ends up into a huge argument. i know that world of warcraft is an extremely popular game, but there's a difference between liking the game a lot and just being crazy obsessed with it. afterall, i am REAL while the game is MAKE BELIEVE STUFF. he can't get the real pleasures in life from a game, ya know? (sorry if that sounded gross). i'll see what i can do; i've been trying.

also, someone mentioned earlier that i should play the game with him. the thing is, i don't want to waste 15 bucks every month for a game that i wouldn't be playing that often cuz i'm going to school and have to concentrate on REAL things rather than fictional characters. i just think he needs to get his priorities straight. it's not like we just started dating...we've been 2gether for over a year. so idk. i just hate guys sometimes.

lol, hahaha. i don't mean to laugh! but, oh man..naw i've been there. I mean that whole "world of warcraft" thing, lol that's what made me laugh, cuz i've dated some guys like that. But um, lemme see..
Ok, why don't you guys try going out? like going to the movies, to the park, bowling, going to the mall, going out dancing....you know? It'll get him away from his computer and then he probably will start paying more attention to you. but i mean there is a difference though, if he ignores you and just plays his computer all day long,...then you might want to think if you are wasting your time, or have a talk with him

i feel like i can relate to you...
my partner goes to his pc after work
and play with his fave RE4 games...
and I'm like...waiting forever in bed
and wakes up so upset...
but I really love him and seems that
i'm already used to our situation..
at least ..he's not thinking about other
women...or worst men..lolz...
btw... he goes to my office after his work and
fetch me...we go home together..
so I basically know his routine...
and we're together for almost five years already...

You wanna be a mod again Gigi? With Betty, Juna, and James all stepping down, there's lot's of room. Besides, you were suppose to get hired the same time me, Joanne, and Juna got hired. I don't know what happened. sad.gif

Don't I need to request to want to be a mod to even become one? Because I never did that. Unless you guys were just invited?
