I think it will be cool. I had a PS1 and now I have a PS2 and Xbox. I think the controller looks like a boomerang like everyone else said. They really need to look at that thing again and redesign it.

Sry Suzzete. Guess it's just bad luck.

Sony says the PS3 controller is not the final design.

Gee, I wonder what made them say that?

Thats great. I knew theyd change it up.

It even said on the various pics on the web that it wasnt a final design.

Yeah, the notes on the bottom of the images said Design subject to change or something like that. But if they copy the Revolution, that is simply a testament to how innovative Nintendo is.

Nintendo even said the reason they wanted to hold off on revealing the controller is to stop others from ripping them off.

I sure hope to god that they don't use the spider-man movie typeface on the final console. That's bugging the hell out of me.

I wouldnt suspect they would, considering its an obvious trademark of the movie, and putting it on something thats not the actual movie, would be dumb. Itd be like me creating a game system with GTA fonts, or you know, something of a similar situation.

I didnt say they didnt.

Im saying, when you see that font, you think SPIDERMAN, not Sony.

It would be stupid of them to put a font on that wasnt original, that wouldnt grab attention for the system itself rather than a movie.

Everyone's noticed it.

And after Spiderman 3 comes out, it will guaranteedly not be associated with Sony.

screw that. bring on the revolution! even if it's not that much fun, it's different.

of all the different ideas for a regular controler, they couldn't get something better than a boomerang?

`sigh.

oh well. sony= down.

Shocker. PS3 price is revealed to be in the same range as the Xbox 360 ($300-$400). A Sony employee went on record to say that they would sell at a loss to keep it in the 360's range.

Thats alot of money to lose, considering theyve estimated the price of making it at what? like 600$?

A loss of 300-200 per system, and assuming it sells nearly as well as the PS2, theyd lose billions within the first year.

Exactly. Pretty much, they're buying dominance for Blu-ray.
