I was actually looking foward to it, because I love history, but this sucks. I'm in gifted AP, and glfted classes are usually more stimulating, but half my class isn't supposed to be in gifted, so it's just a damned lot of work and very little creativity. Harder than I expected, though. I really need to get my grade up

hm. Our teacher for that class is a real slave driver, but we learn it. It makes it kinda easy his way. =] Our school uses the "The American Pageant" sp?

Actually, I was told that AB Cal is basically eqivalent to 1 semester in college Calculus and BC is both semesters.

Hmm, I took APUSH last year, and I loved it. Eh, second term was harder because I had new teacher, but I still did well on the AP (5!) and in the class.
But yea, BC calc is hard...

lmao easy? its lyk 20 pages of notes a night.. lol.

wow a long time?.. lyk as in slow pace or hwk? lol. Czu i swer we go bya fast pace.. and i've only been in skewl since End of AUG and we are alreadii i chapter 4 or so.. lol. but i'm not saying it sux or anything.. it's jsut a skill of working hard that i need to learn..lol

Same with APWH, it's easy work, it just takes a while to write everything down and study. But considering that I'm doing symphony and tennis practice, I hardly have time to do anything

I didn't know ANNNYYY answer on the APUSH multiple choice.. Maybe like 5 questions out of the 70+ questions we had--I don't even know how many questions there were

But I did awesome on the essay portion... Haha but that's only 50%, accounting for a grand total score of..

Read the book. If you don't, you won't pass. :P Simple as that. APUSH is easy... the test itself is hard unless u mastered history.

i LOVED my apush class. it was so fun. i miss taking it sometimes. call me strange, but it's true.

i got a 4. it's pretty good yeah, but i was so close to a 5, it made me wish i studied a bit more. yeah, okay, i'm whining like a traditional asian kid.

colleges rather see a "C" in a hard class than a "A" in an easy class

i personally think they rather see an "A" in all hard classes cuz the competition is rough

I took APUSH last year and it was definitley a hard class for me. APUSH and AP Physics are rumored to be the hardest classes at my school. And since my school is ranked pretty high on the national list, it's a reallllllly tough class. I slacked off a bunch in that class and I had to work really really hard to get an A on the 2nd semester final to save myself. I didn't take the AP test because I had just missed about a month of school and I missed the deadline to turn in the money and stuff but I heard it wasn't that hard. A majority of the people that I know got 5s on it.

Mine too. It's such an awful book. It leaves out so many crucial details. The funny thing is, it was one of the sample books in Lies My Teacher Told Me, which we had to read in the summer, sp we knew it was crap before we got it

it's pretty easy right now- the only AP class i have an A in right now.

but it should get harder.

APWH is a worthless class.

it's viewed by colleges as a padded AP. they don't care if you take it.

Oh, and APWH was only offered my sophomore year, too. I wsa going to take it, but it was only offered the same period i had band, so being in symphonic band > ap history. plus that meant i had a great teacher and an incredibly easy class
