I just realized that everyday for lunch, I don't wash my hands and so do the people around me. We just leave class and head straight for the lunch tables. I started to think about it when one day, I needed to go to the bathroom before heading towards the tables. Maybe we just forget often and assume that our hands are clean enough for picking up food. I mean, before lunch we touched so many things such as books, papers, pencils, the ground (eh..sometimes), walls, desks, and such. Well the point of this topic is..do you ever wash your hands before lunch?

I wash my hands at least 3 times randomly when i'm in school (not counting washing after using the restroom), but not everytime before lunch. now that i think about it.... *shudders*.

I was my hands after every time I go to the bathroom. If I'm at home, I wash my hands before I eat (I don't have lunch at school). For certain occasions when I'm not at home when I'm eating, I have a small bottle of hand sanitizer that I keep handy in my purse.

Nope. I wash my hand after i'm done eating at school. If it's super dirty and visble, i'll wash it right away.

I usually wash my hands after I use the bathroom, and I would go to the bathroom before lunch, so my hands would be washed by lunch time.

someone might have just cratched their butt and touched the door knob

guy all always grabbing their crotches for some reason, who knows what they touched

and weird far out thought, someone could walk out of the bathroom, put their foot up on the seat to tie their shoe, bathroom crap gets on seat, someone wipes seat w/ bare hands before sitting, bathroom crap on hands, touch food w/ hand, person eats bathroom crap

But I can't find any hand-sanitizer or however you spell it.
And our bathrooms are waay too dirty.

No.. I just go straight to lunch. It grosses me out too, but the after you wash your hands, you have to open then bathroom door. And that is more nasty than not even washing your hands.

No, I don't usually wash my hands before lunch. It's sort of a natural thing to go straight to the cafeteria. Unless my hands are really dirty from whatever I did in class, it doesn't bother me too much.

Before I eat, I wash my hands. After I use the bathroom, I wash my hands. I also wash my hands before taking a shower.

Yes! I was brainwashed from the moment I could walk. Haha Its something I just do. Lately I even wash my hands if I touch the rubbish bin.
