They were both huge. The east coast has taken its share of huge beatings. I don't think that it will get overshadowed, I just think that the hurricane will be more likely to be remembered since the results were much more catastrophic. Ironic, the hurrican happens around the same time that 9/11 has.

Wow, I need to read things more carefully. Thanks, though.

The hurricane was a natural event that led to human neglect, and September 11th was caused by humans entirely. I don't know which one is worse. They are both equally worth remembering.

Again, rest in peace to the victims in both events.

I realized it when it was the first of September.
I thought we were going to have a moment of silence in school on the 11th, but today I looked at the calendar and it's on a Sunday.

I agree.

And to whoever said "I hoped we never get bombed like that again" or whatever. It wasn't a bombing.. It was a terrorist attack.

I remember, I have a phrase/quote in my profile in remembrance of the 9/11 victims. sad.gif
We had a moment of silence in Advisory the other day for the victims on 9/11 and the Hurricane Katrina victims.
Somebody laughed though, and was being so rude.
