The people I know of use it to simbalize Straight Edge which is sxe. The others I know use it to simbalize the hardcore scene which is hxc, or metalcore mxc, or emocore exc.

Hmm...X's and Z's have a specific meaning to me...I don't like to just add them in randomly though. and sheddingtears is right. most "original" names have been taken, though they would probably find more success using a G or Q for example, since no one uses those in front, heh. Like I said, I have my reasons for liking those letters, but I can't say anything about it for everyone else.

bleh i have one aim sn w/ the x's in them. ONLY because back in 7th grade, all my friends sorta had the same sn. it was like xbabx[INSERT NICKNAME HERE]x. I use it as my back up screen name and no one knows it's me.

i dont know why it matters so much? if it's annoying to you im sorry but there's probably nothing you can do about it unless you find some way to hack into every single s/n or username with "x's" and change it or something..which i doubt is possible. but i agree with those who just use it to add something in or just use it as a placeholder..why does it matter if they want to..and michelle(you have a nice xanga by the way) you were talking about doing "whatever the hell you want" well thats what they're doing so we can all do whatever the hell we want and just say screw it when people like to argue against your judgement and what not.

i have "x's" only in my xanga username but im not trying to be cool or thinking im cool because of it or trying to do it to be original. to me it doesnt matter but oh well. i guess we can all think what we want to think but i doubt anybody really and truly cares..

the only thing that truly does bother me sometimes is when people write in caps and lowercase every other letter..that sometimes gets annoying but i dont really care cause they can do as they please

well it think its just as unoriginal as have doobydoo_06 or something. I used to do it just do I caould have the screenname I wanted cuz someone took the original for example: lady_karamelle <taken? I made it Xxlady_karamellexX. But now I just find a way to get it how I want it. Even if I have to sacrifice spelling. Because I need consistency. If my email is one thing, my screennames have to match. yup. But I never did it because it was trndy. I just did it to get my way
