I heard form my Tech. teacher, that Apple might come out NEXT WEEK ( well.. make the annoucnement anyway..) abotu the new "Apple Ipod Cell Phone"..BUT..(yes, theres a but)..i heard that from some website, like engadget.com or something, that it mgiht only hold 100 songs? I dont think I'd change form a 60gb to 100 songs!?..unless you only had like a shuffle.

Does anyone else think that it might come out soon, or at all, or do you think its just a rumor..

well i will buy it....its a cellphone a and well it holds something more then my phone..my phone can hold 5 downloaded ringtones..and your saying it will hold 100...so you do the math and what sounds better...lol...money isnt a issue...so yeah if they make one i will so post a picture of me with it

well i dont know who or what phone company will work with them, but i hope a good one like verizon..but it might be possible...apple can do alot...well i dont know if anyone knows about mac, but they achieved alot...way more then Ibm

Apple invests a lot of time into more than Computers and Ipods. And its a pretty well known fact that they have been playing with this idea for a while. Rumors of a release date have floated around forever.

Well, to be honest--what, besides computers and iPods, does Apple invest a lot of time into?

Apple works with....


Quicktime
final Cut Pro, and all that pertains to. (so chalk that up to video production)
I-tunes (which is not Ipod)
Mac OS X (which is kind of computers but more in the area of software.
I-life suite (which again, is software not a computer)
Apple also does accsessories for computers
Displays, cameras, wireless internet modems
and theres also Firewire.

So yea, Apple deals with "computers" But they do alot more than just the computer and Ipod. whee.

There are a lot of cell phones that play music already, you're really just buying the name "ipod"

that'd be pretty cool. i mean my phone has a little transFLASH chip, similar to the ones that cameras have but minisized. 32 MB for mine, so i can hold about 10+ mp3s. but then a iPod cell would be pretty cool.

btw i have a motorola v635

It's being made by motorola, which means it will suck. All of their phones are shit, even the new razor, its not as good as people think it is.

Also, this phone, who really cares? People are only buying because of the iPod Logo. THe best mp3 phone out their for america, is the Sony Ericsson w800i and the k750i. Im going to get the w800 and at a really cheap price too. Retail price is 500.

100 Songs isnt that bad... why would you want 60gb in your mp3 player? Your never gonna listen to all your 50,000 songs.

The Ipod cell phone did indeed come out.

Its only available with Cingular and is manufactured by Motorola.



Its basically just an phone that holds 100 songs using an I-tunes app.
