Anyways, so far I know that. People who are trying to get closer to God. The Devil try to test that person on how far it can go to its faith. So the Devil send lots of his demons to scare that person and then posessing them. I meant "scaring them" like ruin that person's life.

But so far, I haven't seen this kind of stuff in the movies. So I don't know if that's true or not.

Just for the record, possessions arn't soley a christian thing either. Someone mentioned it being a christian fairy tale, or something of the sort. "Possessions" happen in many religion, and sometimes its involved in rituals and what-not.

hahahaa, I found an ouji board in my grandpas house and I played it with my brother, but we were so steady NOTHING happened. hahaah. We were sitting there for like 10 minutes So I made my mom play it with her sister so I could see it work, and we asked a question "how much will are rentel car end up costing us?" and the thing moved over "8958T (or something to that equevelent)" hahahaha. $8958 thousand we cracked up.



Still doesn't work for me though...I Think you kinda have to let your arm move where it wants to...like you can't try not to move, you almost have ot try to move. I donno. Most of the time it jsut came out as gibberish though I guess the spirit inside me just isn't strong enough

Either all the ppl in the house were going completely insane, or they were jsut blamming every "odd" occorence on a ghost (A cold draft in teh basement. Oh my gosh, must be a ghost) or the story was made up, or greatly embellished. The end.

It is true, but they add a ton of stuff to make it creepier. It's usually not THAT bad. At my church, they actuall had a kid they had to take to the priest and be exorcised. Scary.



No, it's kind of like... you leave yourself open to it. If you have your gaurdian angels nearby, and you kind of "utilize" them, then you aren't as susceptible. I fyou use witchcraft and such, you call the forces in, and so they just kinda take over. It's actually really hard to explain, but the devil doesn't send a legion of demons at someone increasing their faith. He does try to mess it up, tho.

Also, in the previews I've seen,they're are ppl inthe church praying that get attacked by demons. Can't happen. The devil cannot stand any kind of holy artifact, like a cross, holy water, etc. A church is ESPECIALLY bad, where the body of Christ itself is kept. If you are in a holy place, or rather, have nver been in a "cursed, demonic, evil" place, like a haunted area, and invited contact with the spirits, you shouldn't be open for possession.

and what hiphopjunkie said is also true... there's people who have the gift of getting out of their bodies in their dreams and hovering around the world. When they're doing that, they have a silver string or something that if you cut it you can't go back to your body and another soul can go in. The only way it could get cut is if you really want it to, so don't worry about it

Well, thanx for your opinion. There's actual fact to some parts tho. How else would the Catholic Church actually confirm certain events? I mean, do you think miracles and other stuff like that don't happen either?

I'm ignorant? Seriously, don't believe in every single thing people tell you. Ooh, she got possessed, how cool, it must be true. I suppose you believe in fairies as well. I'm not saying the entire thing is fictious, I'm just saying that people can stretch the truth and not to get so worked up because of a scary trailer and the fact that it was "based on a true story." Remember, it's a movie, and they're going to have to add some stuff to make sure we get our money's worth.



There's always a bit of truth behind everything. The Catholic church can't confirm that exorcism and demons exist. It's even mentioned in the Emily Rose story there are two sides - the scientific side and the religious side.

I'm just saying not to immediately think, "OMG THE GIRL IS SATAN" and start talking about how demons possessed your friend or something. There's a lot of theories and things that people disagree on the existence of, such as aliens, angels, demons, ghosts, etc. Not all of them are true.

Okay for one thing, witchcraft is actually praying in the Wicca religion. Ouija boards are ways for contacting spirits, not portals for "evil" spirits to enter your body. The only way you can get possessed is if you believe you're going to be possessed. Just like everything else in this world, the only thing that makes any of this real is our belief of it. Whatever you do believe in will come true. If we believe that we are possessed, that thought will "take us over" and we will start acting out and doing these crazy things. If people are exorcised, I suppose you kind of know what's going on the whole time so I guess you think, "Oh....they fixed it so I'm free of it" which then makes the whole thing stop, the belief that it's going to stop. As this is all a dream, we can control it if we recognize that it's a dream.

Well, that's what I believe anyway. It's up to each of us individually to decide what to believe in. But it's one explanation......eheh.

Ouija is simply communicating with spirits and summoning them at the same time. You may summon a good spirit or a bad spirit. It's very unlikely that you can be possessed by one though. I don't think there's any physical explanation for how you can be possessed by a demon, but it happens!
