Depends on how short the shorts & tube top are I guess but I only wear tube tops and such when I'm on vacation. Otherwise I think it looks kind of trashy.

Well, I can understand your Mom's view on it...it's too revealing. I'd only wear tube top and shorts at home and never out.
I don't think it's...slutty if you do wear them out...it's just not very...decent. |

I pretty much agree with everyone--if its really hot outside, then its ok and understable otherwise..match the tube top with jeans or something...too much skin will make you look not decent.

Yes and no. Like other people said, when it's hot - no, it's fine I guess. Or on the beach it would be acceptable. But, if I saw you in a mall or a restaurant I might perceive you a little differently.
