So when you're walking home or to someplace, which street do you choose, if both get you to the same place at the same time? The sketchy, dirty street that'll be more "interesting," or the safe but boring street?

Hah well I decided to be "fun" and took the sketchy street, but daaaamn that was a bad idea.

I would say the sketchy street, only if its in a neighborhood that Im familiar with. Last time I took the sketchy street when I was in downtown Oakland at like 9 o'clock at night.........and lets just say that I learned my lesson.

Last time I went on a sketcy street, this guy in a black cloak kept following my friend and I around. I'd stick with the boring, safe road.

I always take the safe street. But once in the afternoon on a safe street, a drunk really old Spanish guy in ragged clothing came to me and told me he was a "famous bullfighter" from Spain or something. Luckily I got away. O_O

There really aren't any sketchy streets around where I live... but I would take the safe street, unless, like previously stated, I'm wish a group of friends, preferable guys. My guy friends protect me from being raped

is it a night or day. If its by day then i take the street with more people and more cars. At night i go the same hting. But sometimes by day i take the route with less people.

i think the question should've been, are you dumb or do you want to stay safe? always choose the safe one. i'm deff. one not to take risks. i would never travel alone at nite either. hmm maybe its cuz i live in a big city, but i at least have my street smarts cut out for me.

A safe street, I guess. I don't think I have much of a choice; in my town, there aren't many sketchy streets to choose from. In San Jose, there are a LOT, though.
