Anyone know how those things start? I read it online that there is no cure for them, but it'll go away in a couple of weeks. All I'm hoping for is that it'll go away before the Warped Tour..so yeah, thanks all.

I had one once, cut a lemon in half and rubbed it roughly on top of it and rinsed my mouth with lemon juice for about 20 seconds. It sucked but it was completely gone in about 2 days.

USE ANBESOL.

When I was little, I used to get those all the time, but my doctor recommended that stuff and it works great. =]

I hate them, it's actually a virus that causes them. Y'know like a wart? It's just random bacteria && it depends whether or not it wants to give your lips a bit of Hell...I used to have 'em a lot, but as you age they go away...Wow, I'm an idiot, I'm not too old. Honestly, I don't know how to cure it, but I know how it's started.

Are you going to Warped Tour, August 12th? O_o

^ haha, I'm actually going Aug 10th. But I used Orajel, and all it does is make it numb for a while, so I'm wondering if anybody uses that stuff also.

Oh shit. WE use the same thing. ohmy.gif

anyways .. you can go buy Anbesol at RiteAid.

I think you should get the gel anbesol even though it's more expensive than the liquid anbesol but it works faster (same products but different forms)

Go drink cold ice water because increase the healing process of your canker sore.

i'm not too sure how they start out but i am sure that there are a few different ways that they can form. maybe something you ate...maybe too much salt...I DON'T KNOW! wacko.gif but yeah, use some medicine like teesa posted up and i used to have this stuff that once you put it on, it made like the whole infected area NUMB. and i mean NUMB. wacko.gif but i forgot what it was called. it was a sort of pinkish liquid...................sleeping.gif

I remember reading in my science textbook that they start cuz of some viruses in the body? I dunno, some crap like that. Like bacteria/viruses or something. They're like viruses that come and go randomly and appear at different times. Nothing deadly tho.

I get them all the time..especially during the winter. I also get them when I bite on my inside lip when I'm eating food. _dry.gif
