For Yahoo, it's so you can find other members in your area.


The websites you posted up are mainly for meeting new people, friends, dating, etc.

I think Yahoo and all those other sites require them. And only Yahoo Mail is free, along wtih the IM and chatrooms, which leads back to my point. Strictly for meeting people.

Oh. I don't know. But I thought you meant the advertisements like the ipod ones. LOL... because they do that so you can get free stuff for real, but you have to pay too lol..

OHHHH now I get it. Wait yahoo ask for home address? I didn't know that. I have yahoo...and it never asked me................. mellow.gif

anyways... maybe it does that because so the other members can see where you live?

oh now i remember. they did ask me my home address, but i always use fake address...and not mine because i dont want them to find out my home address. why should they? lol.
