I think its really sad. Some people at my school are racist they write on the bathroom wall how they should go to hell and the police were involved and everything. We made the news twice and the front of the news paper too many times to count.

its called reverse racism, and its waaay more common than you think.
many black people assume that because out white ancestors were racist, we are too. this makes them build up this fireld where they dont want to talk to us or anything, becuase they think were racist.

the truth is, their the racist ones. they hit you and beat you up because your pale. they make fun of yuou because your white. its so evil. and they still have the nerve to go up to you and say ..."its because im black, huh?"

uh, no. its because were white. my whole school is like this. well, most. there are some black folk who have enough sense to know that were all equal. were not racist. yah know?

they have too many rights now. like saying "black pride, bitch!!!! hahahahaha white people suck"
and us white people just sit there and stare. we cant do anything about it.

now if a white person said "hahaha white pride bitches....", they would call us a bunch of racist bitches and beat us down to the ground.

This is a really late entry into this topic but all right.

I'm an a-hole. I'll admit it, I'm an a-hole and I hang out with alot of em. But even with that said I'd never discriminate against people because of their race or appearance. The group I hang out with at school is very culturally varied and vert tightly knit *football players, my brothers*.

My group consists of:
Indians
Blacks
Middle Eastern ppl (myself included)
Whites
Asians
Latinos

Basically any race you can think of. So yeah, I'm an ass, but I'm not a racist one. Everyone in my group makes racial groups towards one another..my nickname for football for terrorist. But we say it in a playing way. It's when things get violent is when you know there is a problem. I don't understand why people could get so racial, but when you grow up in an isolated environment where there are a majority of one race then it's typical that they would feel superior to others just because they outnumber them.

I know some racist people and I'm friends with them (one is a goddamn nazi). How am I friends with him even though we believe in completely different tihngs? I like him, he is racist but that doesn't necesarily make him a bad person. Maybe in some peoples eyes, but not mine. I don't know. This post probably made no sense and I'll probably be back to edit it later. PM me if you have a question or comment about it.

i think that we all have our racism in us... because of the stereotypes that the world has created and such things....

racism is caused by a variety of things. peple may give us bad remarks but we just have to learn to let it go; in one ear, out the other. if we let it settle in our minds, we will slowly rot. we are allowing our enemies to really get to us if we think about it so much.

Um, no. Racism isn't as big a problem anymore. What about narrow-mindedness, stupidity; what about the murderers that go on killing sprees, massacring anyone regardless of their race?

Hm, that's an interesting view. But almost anyone who does engage in killing sprees/genocide/whatever you'd like to call it has a generic target. When have you ever heard of the organized killing of anything? The only reason some murderers (and the murderers I'm talking about are country leaders) have engaged in the organized killing (genocide) of people is because they target a specific race or group of people that they think are inferior to them, classifying them into a race that has to be extinguished.

My school is mostly Asians. So white kids get tease a lot unless their cool with the Asians. We hang out in groups. Asians here. Mexicans there. Whites over there. & OTHER over there.

At school cultures naturally segregate with few exceptions. From what i've seen at my school.

My school is 80% Asian. And unless they are cool with us then they are just another asian person in the crowd, I guess.

omfg u haven't seen racism til u've been south of kentucky ok everybody i no hangs out at the movies black, white, mexican, & asian ok the police are ALWAYS there on friday and saturday night so we were there waitin for our movie to start and these 2 cops came over and checked the tickets of the black dudes and the mexican dudes and when everybody else got out there tickets they go no its ok yall r fine go ahead we jus need these guys over here we were like WTF!?!?!

Do you know for a fact that they were not doing something illegal? They could have had a tip that those people were in possession of something. Profiling is on both sides of this coin. The cops could've just been doing their jobs.
