Yeah, obesity is a sin, and they need to be smited, or repent and work their fat off, not burn it through pills or stuff like that.

But uhm, there are a few good obese people. I feel their sadness, but I can't really relate, because I'm only probably 1/4th of their weight, literally.

i think there should be a "cast away" fat rehabilitation program.

they strand you on an island. and there you go.

THIS IS MY SOLUTION (that actually I got from someone else, as you can see, haha).
QUOTE(bravodancer04 @ Apr 17 2005, 7:33 AM)
Okay..so you`re gonna call them a lardass becase they`re fat, and then say you`re not being insensitive?  Ohhh I gotcha, you want everyone to be skinny in this world.  Because fat people should just be killed off or put on a different island, right?

That island should be stripped of anything/everything edible, and the water around it should have nothing but ocean water.

Ew, I feel really mean because of this. Oh well

reading the replies in this topic make me want to barf hammer.gif

i'm more sensitive to obese people, though, considering it runs in my family. not all obese people wear clothes that are too tight, not all obese people pig the freak out when they are out to eat and don't always asume just because they ate normally that they are looking at your food! geez, you guys are jerks, obese people already get punished enough by not being able to do things normal people are able to like bungee jump ride rollercoasters (and most rides at sixflags) fit into *some* chairs while feeling attacked by society as a whole by the constant selling of sex appeal as well as being shunned by 98% of the opposite sex ~_~! :-\ im just close to these people and it really pisses me off because people don't know what they go through on a daily basis because of their weight ;-; its really sad...

haha that turned into a huge rant

i do know what they go through. i had to watch a documentery on fat people. (yes anna, naked fat people. it was scarring)

anyways- it was about stomach stapling surgery.

yea yea fat people can still contribute to society and all-

but the thing is, we can't let the idea of being fat is natrual become prevalant. fat people increase thier risk of heart disease and diabeties and everything, much more.

ok, here's what i was trying to say:

obesity is a disease. it's like a bad cold. it's not the person's direct fault for getting it, but they might have helped it a bit. and a person can get rid of it themselves, or modern medicine can make it easier.

In other words, it's their fault they're so obese?

Ah, I guess. I feel bad, though, for saying all that stuff.

well, like if a person catches a cold it's probably thier fault for not washing thier hands...

so if a person's obese it's probably thier fault for giving in to the temptation to eat too much and not excercise. the genetics and such might make the results much worse than in others- but there has to be something to multiply.

um. no. you cannot blame anyone for the bacteria. there is no way to stop bacteria from spreading 100%.

i think bacteria is just natural.

But obesity isn't, so for the sake of this metaphor, let's say bacteria isn't. Rofl.

It's all because of mcdonalds.

-- That's pretty interesting though, obese women being more fit than obese men.

Yeah, I do. So some of them can attribute it to genetics, but GODDAMN. GET OFF OF YOUR LAZY FAT ASS AND WORK IT OFF SO THE REST OF US DON'T SUFFER. Christ.

I totally agree...i especially hate it when these huge people where these little tiny shirts and all of their fat just bulges right out...it's like c'mon, don't you look at yourself in the mirror...do you honestly think you look good?wacko.gif And btw, obese people are at fault for looking the way they are. They could go to the gym or go on a diet or walk around the block just like the rest of us do that aren't obese...goodness.
