what's your way of saying sorry? do you usually just say the simple word in their face, 'i'm sorry for blah blah blah...' or do you send them a card, gifts, a song or something? what's your way of apologizing when you've done something wrong? and if you don't have a way, what do you think is the best way? if someone has done something wrong to you, how would you like them to apologize to you?
i haven't been here long so if this topic is already made, feel free to close.

i don't really believe in getting people gifts/candy as a way of apologizing. in a way, it's sorta like buying back their friendship.
i apologize by sincerely saying how wrong i was and asking for their forgiveness. not a simple, "i'm sorry." cause, don't say it if you don't mean it. |

I usually just say sorry in a sincere way, or if I still feel guilty, I will take that person out for a meal.

I can't recall a time of when I was feeling guilty enough to buy anything accompanied by a simple "I'm sorry".
I just say it, and mean it. Give a hug and make up, hopefully. |

Apologizing must be one of my weak points. It would probably take a life defying situation for me to actually give an actual true apology. I have no idea why, I don't want to hurt people, when I do it hardly ever is intentional. When it comes to apologies, I just can't do it. Hell, its hard for my mouth just to pop out a simple "sorry." Apologies... something thats hard for me to do. I would joke around with "ok ok im sorry" but I don't think I actually mean it. Everybody I tell it too probably knows it but just doesn't say anything, I want to change, i'm trying to change but hell, it's more then I expected. I have been building up on this for a long time but it just isn't getting around.

It depends on what I did.
If it was really serious, I'd start saying "I'm sorry, I'm sooooo sorry!!" But if it wasn't, I'd just be like, "Sorry" and shrug. |

hmm, I just say i'm sorry and tell them why i'm sorry. And ask for forgiveness. Do i buy them somethan? lol it matters what i did. Like if I accidently ruined a friends shirt or somethan, then i would say i'm sorry and then most likely go buy them another one. lol, so i guess it matters what i did.

I don't apologize for a long while, usually; when I do, it ends up coming out, "Hey, I'm sorry for _______ a while ago. I'm not expecting you to forgive me, but just so it's out there." Works well, for the most part.

I usually just say "Sorry" and write a long letter saying that I didn't mean to and stuff. If they continue to be mad. Then oh wellz. They're out of my life.
