just to confirm, it has been established the genf and cb have the same admin cps, and as such, it IS MOST DEFINATELY POSSIBLE TO UNSUSPEND ACCOUNTS

so, paul, dont worry about it.

Anyways Anna, yes an hacker can guess your password...i think they've got this wierd program, bleh. I used to be a moderator (yeah rolleyes.gif) in this forum and one of the admin's account got hacked, his pw was "char" mellow.gif... they couldn't get into the other admin's account because his was made up of diff characters and numbers... mine was hacked too, my pw was "justintimberlake" mellow.gif
That's not so much hacking as it is brute force. I've read about it before, where hackers use progs to go through the dictionary and other sources, trying to force-guess their way into the said account, but really though. Steven's password was a series of nine numbers. It wasn't through brute force that this guy got in. I'm thinking, though, that he got into Sammi's account and screwed around with us through her account.

are you sure, steven?

because we've been through it before and the admincps were the same in all other respects... why would this be different?

plus, its incredibly stupid not to have a feature to unsuspend accounts

Maybe that was when she was a mod, not an admin...

Actually I'm not really fretting over the cookbook or cB buttons being deleted. Admin have access to deleted threads. And if that fails to work out, I worked on the threads via notepad so I have saved copies of both threads on my computer. btw, sorry about the incorrect links in the cookbook; completely unintentional.

You guys can stop right there. laugh.gif

You can't brute on invision for one.

Second, this is the most safe & stablist version of IPB.

It was done through AIM her password was "password"

Yes, that is a very common password Sammi, whether you like it or not.

And finally, Bruting goes on through FTP, http methods not IPB.

No exploits or sql injections can be done to IPB.

End of story. stubborn.gif

Heh, you'd like to know what could happen to your computer if you got on my nerves?

Get your IP > crack into your computer > connect > put you offline flowers.gif

Then again, people rarely get on my bad side.

Thanks Anna, you are a nerd as well _smile.gif

That's not sad.

I get two things out of it.

1.) Never having to listen to you again.
2.) Pure Amusement.

Not as sad as you and I, dear. People enjoy doing different things with their time. Just because you don't neccessarily agree doesn't mean it's "sad."

I found an lucrative site regarding college scholarship.

FAFSA financial aid and fafsa scholarship guide to get FAFSA federal grants. Our Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) strategies and instructions will assure FAFSA application is accepted.
