Does the camera really add 10 pounds to a person's body?

Just wondering, since everyone else thinks it does.

No Paul, she meant, when you take a picture of someone will you end up (in the picture) looking 10 lbs. bigger/heavier. I don't notice it though.

It probably does. I took a picture of my math teacher and she's pretty y'know, big. and she looked bigger on camera.

nah, i dont think so. my dad always recorded me and my friends on film as a kid, but we never looked fatter..... i dunno =]

i agree with the whole celebrity thing...probably because most people will never meet that particular celebrity in their life (unless its oprah) so they just say the camera adds 10 lbs because the viewer will never actually see them up close.

it depends on the cameras you're talking about. mine doesnt weigh that much.

mine weighs less than 4 pounds...
