Uh... I dunno. I'm sure my hymen got broken cause when my boyfriend first fingered me, it didn't hurt. But then again he only used one finger, and I've used tampons before. But the more fingers he added the more it hurt...

Maybe they didn't do it right.
But yeah for the first time, it hurts like heck with lots of blood. I'm still a virgin, but I know sex stuff because I know 20-30 friends that are not virgin at all. It truly varies on each individual girl. For most girls- it hurts. Your stretching the skin, if you have a hymen then that breaks, etc. The first few times is a bit uncomfortable but after that then it's fine. The only reasons why sex should hurt after that is if your doing to much of it or if there's something wrong.
It's not rare for a girl to not have a hymen or not to bleed. Some girls are actually born without hymens. I know the first time I had sex was not pleasant- it hurt like crazy but I didn't bleed so it all depends on the individual girl. My friend cried the first time while my other friend said it didn't hurt at all. You'll find out once you do but take my advice- wait for the right guy! I was stupid and I totally regret it. Just wait until the right guy comes along and don't rush into it. |

So summing up what everyone said, it's painless or painful depending on what girl the guy "operates" on. Some bleed and some do not. What causes the bleeding is the man tearing the skin called "hymen". Some people can tear it before sex and then it'll be less painful during actual intercourse. And how do you know that you're born without a hymen ? Oh yeah, and I read somewhere you can't break the hymen with a tampon because there's this part of it that uhh doesn't cover the wall to allow menstruation. And the tampon goes through there. Or yeah.

Well it is different for every girl. One of my friend's was bleeding a lot after her first time, and my other friend was fine. It depends on the guys size I guess and how rough you guys are doing it. Use lube, it might hurt less.
