well yes, but i don't think it's so horrible for 13+ to hear it either..i mean, if people lie and say they're 13 then that's their fault..but when i was 13, i certainly had questions..of course, not the same ones i have now but i was still quite curious..

I say we should recommend an age limit, or minimum or whatever, but if a younger member feels they're mature enough to participate in this forum, then they should be free to do so.

I'm thirteen, and I know for a fact that a lot of people my age have a lot of burning questions that they would never dare ask in health class. Granted I am most likely the only North Dakotan here that actively posts, but I'm sure that logic can be applied to the rest of the thirteen year olds out there.

or maybe we cant really bother with the age limit, but just make it so tht you have to sign in, and thus be a member first, to enter, because that way you have to say you're 13 first anyway

yea like in the forum description be like .. "reccommended for ages 15+" or something..that way it doesn't limit it to ONLY those ages, cause i know younger members CAN be mature..i mean, i joined cb when i was 13 and i was friends with most of the more mature members since i'm somewhat mature for my age.

yeah, it should say that, but it really doens't need to be accessable to non-members. i'm stornly agianst that, because plenty of curious kids will come for skins and then drop in. besides, i dont want my friends reading what i post in a sex forum and they all lurk

I think a sex education forum isn't as bad as some of you made it out to be... At least, it won't be as bad if it is well moderated. Which is the hard part.

Yes, there really seems to be no way we can really just allow certain users in.

The only easy way I can see is to either:

1. Make a certain account level sort of like a mod that gets a password.

2.Make an application to email anf recive an email with a password.

Either way it seems kind of pointless because there are users that will just lie about thier age or will find a way around it.

The Idea of this forum would work very well. It would be quite benificial in my personal opinion.
