Stop the spamming please.

I've actually never heard of the Illuminati, but I doubt it would work anytime soon.

[quote]The Illuminati was a secret society in Bavaria in the late 18th century. They had a political agenda that included republicanism and abolition of monarchies, which they tried to institute by means of "subterfuge, secrecy, and conspiracy," including the infiltration of other organizations.* They fancied themselves to be "enlightened" but they had little success and were destroyed within fifteen years of their origin (Pipes 1997).[/qoute]

That's so cool!

Did you know that the CIA was actually behind the JFK shooting?

And that the government is hiding aliens in Area 51 so that they can colonize Earth in exchange for power for government agents?

And that we are all living in a massive video game played by a bunch of insanely powerful demi-gods who prefer Playstation 2s to Xboxes?

i actually believed you for a moment. wacko.gif

this sounds like a debate topic, except the topic starter made it kinda odd.

why would the government hide something from us? the government needs us. if we revolt, there is no government. they could be trying to protect us.

i'm not saying that i like the government though. or that it has good intentions.

The Illuminati used to be a secret scientific conspiracy who wanted all the Catholic/Chrisitian churches to disappear.

It all started when Galileo said outloud that the Earth was round, and that it revolved around the Sun. The Catholic Church then basically tossed him into prison.

Groups of scientists were pissed at the Church for tossing Galileo into jail for basically no reason at all, other than in fear for corrupting the Church follower/believers out there or something...

The Church also killed 4 scientists in fear that they'll start saying that the Earth is round too and all that shit...so they murdered them, and literally just left the bodies of the 4 scientists in 4 different public places.

The Illuminati are mad as hell right now, and they were seeking revenge. Then suddenly....they disappeared.

I'm too lazy to type up the rest... but you can search the net... lol

I hope this helped biggrin.gif

I read all about the Illuminati in "Angels and Demons"..that's what that entire book is about..it's about the Illuminati resurfacing ....

By the way.."Angels and Demons" is by Dan Brown..who also wrote "The Da Vinci Code"..I thot "Angels and Demons" was way better..but that's a different story..

"Paranoid conspiracy theorists (PCTs) believe the Illuminati cabal still exists, either in its original form or as a paradigm for later cabals. Many PCTs believe "that large Jewish banking families have been orchestrating various political revolutions and machinations throughout Europe and America since the late eighteenth century, with the ultimate aim of bringing about a satanic New World Order."

Yep..pretty interesting, if I do say so myself.

Don't knock this thread. What Speight said is true, there is an Illuminati and they do control a small but definite percentage of every major company in the US and Britain, maybe the world. Basically, the Illuminati is a synonym for New World Order.

Confused? Click these links to educate yourself:
Illuminati and other theories
Skull and Bones, Alleged American Chapter of Illuminati
Any and All Theories, All are Factual, Even They Seem a bit Far-fetched

"Differences between Skull and Bones and other fraternities
Skull and Bones is different from other semi-secretive fraternities and sororities on several points. First, its membership rosters are a secret and its activities are secret. Second, it is what is called a "senior society," in that only upcoming seniors are inducted into the secret society only for one year prior to graduation. Third, members have a history of committing crimes to further The Order, whether these crimes are part of the initiation or simply as a mutual encouragement of peer pressure, is unknown. For instance, grave-robbing has been committed on several occasions. The Skull and Bones Tomb was rumored to hold Geronimo's skull, which inspired Native American activist and Apache chief Ned Anderson to try to force a search and a DNA test. The FBI refused to enter the fray unless Anderson removed himself from the investigation and turned over any evidence he had, an offer Anderson refused. Anderson then claimed, with several pieces of evidence, that he had met with Jonathan Bush, the brother of then-Vice-President George H. W. Bush, who presented the infamous skull. The skull was impossibly small, and is assumed to be of a child. Anderson then publicized the meeting, adding that the skull was not the one of Skull and Bones fame. A bonesman was quoted as saying about the incident, "We still call it Geronimo". Fourth, The Order inspires occasionally a fanatical loyalty. Members have been known to stab the Bones insignia into their flesh to keep it on them while showering or swimming. Both John Kerry and George W. Bush are members of Skull and Bones. They both refused to talk about their common membership in Skull and Bones, despite being asked on television about it.

Bush: "It's so secret I can't talk about it."
Interviewer: "What does that mean for America?"
Bush refused to answer that question. In another interview, when Kerry was in turn asked what could he reveal about Skull and Bones, Kerry said: "Well not much, because it's a secret... Sorry, I wish there was something I could manifest... [and then he quickly changed the subject]." Bush has appointed over 10 Skull and Bones members to his Administration in only his first term."

Coinsidence, I think not....There is something going on here in America.

PS- Just because you haven't heard of it or you think that it's a bunch a crap doesn't mean that it can't be true or at least partly right....
