i live in florida so a tan is a must-- the beach is just yards away! i lay out on tha beach or by the pool and use that new jergens natural glow lotion.

EVERYONE goes tanning. Instead of friends going to the mall together, you hear about how they went tanning. Crap. crap crap. I'm glad I don't have to worry about that!

tans are a MUST where i live. but i dont use oil or anything. i can tan easely without it. oil is the worst thing you can do to your skin. some people say, "Oh i'll stop worshiping the sun when i'm around 25." well most skin damage is done at age 18 and under. my dad had really bad skin cancer, and thats not going to happen to me.

I have a year-round tan too! Thats because I'm mexican, though. People around here are crazy about tanning.

I don't really hear about people tanning at my school.. I guess people tan year-round? Well, I don't know. I love in southern cali so yeah.

a majority of the people here in hawaii are naturally brown, because of race obviously.

i live in indiana and a tan is a must. these days, it doesn't matter where you are. being tan is good.

course, i've been tanning 5 times and i'm still close to being as white as an albino person. meh..

im white as snow and i dont tan by laying out but yeah tanning is popular here.

i've gotten a spray tan or i use lotion stuff.. that's the only thing that will work for me!

A tan is nice where I live but it's not a must. I know lots of people who go to tanning booths but I don't do that because my mom almost got skin cancer from that..

I don't fake-bake; that's disgusting. During the summer I go to the beach. From there I just let it wear out until next summer.

yea, i live in florida too so if you don't have a tan people kinda go but its not that big of a deal for me cuz i have one of those 'year round' tans going on..so hooray for me!

and tanning oil is not bad. really, i asked my dermatologist and he said it was fine as long as it was used sparingly and it was the kind with a bit of spf 15.
