Well I've been having major family problems, well I'm not sure what it's called. You see I have these 3 cousins, and they're not the best of friends. Let me fill you in. I love the two out of the three of them: one is Teeda and the other one is Doosha, (yes their names are weird. but only because my nationality) they get along fine. It's my other cousin they dislike. Her name is Dana. Well Teeda just broke up with her boyfriend, and now Dana is secretly dating him. She told me and Doosha not to tell Teeda, she didn't even give us a chance to state our side about how we feel. And when we confronted her about it, she started yelling at us. The thing is, she's mad at us now she thinks that just because we have our own side of the situation we are going agaisnt her. We've tried talking to her about it and we never got to solve the problem. So the question is, should we just ignore her, talk it out with her, or just move on? Our friendship has been going on like a lightbulb. She sucks up to us and gets all the secrets out of us, and then she treats us like dirt. What to do?

well, u have to take into consideration that she really does not want other people finding out about her relationship. so of course she's gonna be really defensive about anything you say. if you confront her about it, of course she's gonna explode and get all growly. i say, let her cool off for a while, and then try talking to her about it again. say how u don't disprove of her relationship/whatever and try to calm her down. and reassure her that ur not gonna like, tell her parents/something.

if that doesn't work and she's still all growly..

leave a trail of acorns to her mailbox. once a squirrel hops into the mailbox, shut it, and keep it shut. then when she goes to get her mail, it'll jump out all confused and angry, and it'll scratch out her eyes, and then cling to her face. she'll run around her lawn screaming, while u watch and sip a cup of coffee and say, "need some help there good ol' cousin? *sips*" then, she'll trip over a garden gnome and pass out.

thanks for the advice guys, well most of the results have been "ignore her" the thing is, i see her almost everyday and she comes up to me almost everytime we cross paths. it's hard to ignore her, since her mom and dad come over my house to play cards and what not. so usually she has no other choice then talking to me and Doosha.

well, why dont you treat her how she treats you?
suck up to her when you need her[if you need her]&treat her like crap when you dont.
afterall, she deserves it, right?

just talk to her about it and take the risk of you getting yelled at. i mean she really doesn't have the right to do that. and you know you have your own opinions and such. and i agree. ignoring peopel is really hard to do. especially if they're always there.you really gotta tell her what she's doing. let her be aware of it.

Don't try ignoring her. She may be a total B-word, but she's still family. Family's forever, and it may actually come back to bite you in the future. Trust me, I've seen it firsthand.
