I usually listen to metal, ska or indie. Specifically Cradle of filth, green day, arch enemy, bikini kill, the dresden dolls, operation ivy, kittie, disturbed, papa roach, liz phair, ben folds, lacuna coil, nightwish, the rasmus, evanescence, etc. there's so much more, but im too distracted from typing...D'oh!!

I'm sure there have been threads on this before, but I'll surely answer anyway.

I am a big fan of metal. I'm open to any type of metal. I love it all, really.
Also, I like hard rock quite a bit too.
Some soft rock's alright.
Alternative rock can be good too.
I used to like punk a lot... Political punk was my favorite. I don't listen to it much anymore though.
I do love ska.

Simply, it's rock with a brassline. (usually trumpets and trombones)
It's usually very upbeat.

You can find some good definitions here. _smile.gif They're pretty detailed about the origin of it.

I like Reel Big Fish and Less Than Jake a lot.

Piano pieces.. :D I love listening to music with just piano in it.. *sigh* Pachelbel's Canon in D in piano is amazing...

I love slow jams and soft pop. Trance is pretty cool too. :P

Anything that actually takes talent and art. Nothing that steals music and add gun shots to make it theirs. Or the crap that basically sells their image rather than their music, ahem..mostly rap *cough! lol.

I'm a kind of person who listens to any kind of music. I just rarely listen to RnB, hip-hop, rap, country.. yeah.. And the others I listen to constantly.
