what my dad does for a living is he talks to 6th/7th graders about sex and choices. i was helping him one time, and he was like, "you can get Herpes not by just going all the way, but just by the skin in the sexual area of yours rubbing against the skin of the sexual area of someone elses. " then he said, "NO condoms are not good enough. u can still get HERPES" and then i was like,
"YA IF I WAS YALL I WOULD JUST USE A TRASH BAG."
and this one kid raised his hand and said, "should i use Glad? or Hefty?"
then my dad said to me, "demonstraight to them about a broken heart." and i was like " SURE OKAY." and then i took two rubber gloves with velcrow attached to them, and i said, "HEARS KEN. hears barbie. ken comes over to barbie and says OH BARBIE I LOVE U. and babie goes OH KEN I LOVE U TOO!" and i started making the gloves kissing, and then i said, "and then barbie and ken started having.....sex." (audience gasped) and i stuck the gloves togeather and the velcrow stuck. "but then" i said, "barbie and ken split apart." (and of coarse i ment they broke up.) and i pulled the gloves apart, and it made a velrow sound. and i said, "thats the sound it makes when u break up." and one kid said, "EW SO U MEAN ITS LIKE STICKY WHEN THEY GET OFF EACHOTHER?" and i was like, "NO! I MEAN THATS THE SOUND OF UR HEART BREAKING WHEN U BREAK UP AFTER HAVING SEX!"
but i never saw my dad teach a class, and he was really good. it wasn't the stupid cartoon movie like back then, it was all like demonstration and power point. and the kids were on the edge of their seats.
