well first i thought rumors were bad but apparently these two wonderful girls made a website about all the gossip happening. "is it just me, or is it just saddening how people have nothing better to do with their time?"

at my school it's really bad but you got to live with it since theres no way to stop it... and those girls must have no lifes.

Omfg. Bret Harte is near my school! It's the school in Oakland, right? Oh god. My friend goes there. Gossips here are really bad. They cause people to get in huge fights.

Gossip at the school I went to used to be terrible. I know, because I knew everything. I was like, designated go betweener. I loved it back then. I knew everyones business, and it was almost like having power. I could blackmail anyone I wanted to. I never did, but the fact is I could. ANd I kept a lot of friends that way, because I never actually spread tings..I just knew everyones business. So I helped a lot of people work out their problems. I was very trusted, even tho I knew everyones business. Kinda weird. But people used to make stuff up about eachother all the time. And I was the one who always tried to set the records stright. Luckily, this prevented a lot of gossip going around about me. haha. Those were the days. So much stupid drama. Haha. I remember my jr hi had a forum. Some girl made it, and all the cool people got on there. Then uncool people got on there lol. ANd people used to dedicate forums to people they didnt like. I mean, it was a great way to find out how much people hated you. A lot of people would make fake names and talk sh*t about themselves, and see if people would say anything bad. I know I did it once. No one said anything. good idea. It would have come back and hit them in the ass. Mwah hahaha. Too bad it got shut down. People were going from the school computers. So many people got detention for it cuz it violated school polocy or whatever. It became a problem for people to access it from home, cuz the principles and teachers claimed it was still violation of school rules, because it was directly linked with students from only our school. *sigh* always ruining the fun. wow. I type too much. oh well.

The sixth and seventh graders here have a problem. It was getting out of hand. The eighth graders here don't. Hm.

Our school rarely gets any gossip. Usually, they're all lies anyways, so no one pays attention to it.

wow a webpage dedicated to school gossip. thas pretty sad. "people that gossip to you will gossip about you". its pretty bad at my school too. i actually heard some stuff about me earlier today. this one boy told me that his friend said that i had a crush on his brother. i was like SIKE! but i dont care.

seriously nobody tells me anything. its not cuz i have a big mouth or anything they just figure i already know so i dont find out until like a month after its happened. so from my standpoint the gossip is not that bad but i think im the wrong person to ask

my school has a lot...a lot of ppl fight b/c of this..and somethings really spread quickly..like if u ask someone out one day, the next day the whole school knows...

gossip in high school was extremely bad. ive seen a significant decreas in it now that im in college though

Wow. It's never gone to that level. But yes, a lot of gossip. There was like none last year, but I don't know what happened this year. So many..untrue things go around.

ours can get pretty bad sometimes, since i have a small school. things spread quickly and everyone knows almost everyone. it depends really. there's gossip between the different cliques and whatnot.

Yep. There's always some gossip going around. BUt most people ignore it.....sometimes. Once in a while, theres a fight between two people or more about it.
