Tomboy.

For me, tomboys help me relax and be myself but it also takes away from the sexual edge to an extent. Some guys prefer tomboys, some prefer girly-girls. I like to have an even amount of both.

its definately good to have a little of both. if a girl is tooo feminine, you might not be able to relate with her. if the girl is tooo tomboyish...it could get kinda weird.

Im with you man! Tomboys are much better cause thegirly girls only want to make them look like whores and such (no offence, but this happens in our school so im making reference to our school), but tomboys usually lead to better relationships and tend to last longer... and not to mention cost a shitload less when it comes to the mall... whew thank god...

i think that 9 outta 10 girly girls want really expensive items (rings, clothes, etc.) that they get their money offa their "date"... poor guy...

It's insane how people don't really know what one particular word mean. I mean how can you label a girl as tomboy if she actually goes out with a guy? com' on, according to what I know, a tomboy is a girl who acts like a guy, who thinks guys are guys [treat them as friends only], and not like guys because they think of themselves as guys already, girls who actually like girls. Durr, that's why a girl is called a tomboy because she likes girls, not guys. Then if one person says that a girl is a tomboy, but that girl went out with a guy, then isn't that called a "real girl" instead? rather than a tomboy? if you say that a girl is a tomboy, then she goes out with a guy [or like a guy], then that's being hypocrite.


The same thing goes with gays, they are called gays because they are attracted to their own sex [or kind], which is also guys, though physically gays are guys. Not the other way around, they are not attracted to the opposite sex, which is girls. That's the same thing with a tomboy.


Plus, it's not because you don't label yourself as a girly girl, doesn't also mean that you're a tomboy. Isn't there any girls that can't be called as just "girls"? You can't be either of the two, some girls are just girls. They don't act girly, but just regular girls. Girls who doesn't move as the word labeled "girly" doesn't also say that they are tomboys.

Girly girls are intelligent (unless like the poster above /\), cute, hott and sexc all in the same package, long hair, short skirts, bra/halter tops, tiny knix etc. Lovely eye candy. Willing to try and do anything. Get pissed up on 2 pints of lager or 1/2 a bottle of wine. Expensive for 2 dates then really low maintenence.

Tomboys also are intelligent, can be cute but are not too interested in looking or acting sexc or hott. Usually have short hair, jeans or trousers only with t-shirts or shirts, unless they really HAVE to wear a dress, usually very conservative and plain underwear. Will look to be in control and are really wild once warmed up. But boy can those girls drink!!! Really cheap to snare..then much more expensive..Grand Prix, WWF, Rock climbing(!!)

...stick to girly girls if you want an easy life.

if you're a tomboy, it means that you most likely have more guy friends than you do girl friends, you play sports. it doesnt matter if you wear jeans more than skirts, and a lot of "girly" girls i know play electric guitar. you might be just a normal girl. why don't you just be yourself and let people like you for who you are.

really? my definition of a tomboy is a girl that is interested in more masucline things such as playin rough sports, working on cars/computers. They have a more boyish manner but when in a releationship they play hard to get. Tomboy's doesnt mean that girls that are attracted to girls. I believe the correct term for that is lesbian. I got lost after the word hypocrite.

i don't think the last few posters should be judging people like that, sorry. i've been called a tomboy enough to know i am, and some of the things some certain people have posted are actually quite insulting. as snakeyes has said above, just because we are labeled tomboys does not mean we are attracted to females. i should know, because otherwise my signature would not be my signature.

i don't want to go on and rant on the world, partially because i don't want to insult anyone by accident, and also because i really need to get to that twenty page spanish review.

I wouldn't really consider you a tom-boy. But more a tom-boy than a "girly girl." I mean, I bite my nails and I don't wear desses and I wear jeans and.. not tee shirts but the tighter ones. I never wear make-up except maybe a bit of eyeliner when I go out (sometimes). But that's it. I'm not considered a tom-boy. I used to be the biggest tom-boy of all time but I grew out of that.

i think your neither. i think your inbetween. there is such a thing. cuz im girly girl but not a real girly girl. im a bit tomboyish cuz i use to be a tomboy. i like cute clothes, shopping and etc. i always have to match. i dress up but i dont always wear skirts and etc. i hate makeup, but i love my nails. but im also bigg on the car scene thing, drifting, racing and etc. soon i will be workin on my own car. i like drums, i want to learn how to play. i love jetskiing. i dont mind playing sports and getting dirty. im always up for hikes. i hang round alot of guys more than girls.

alot of people say im inbetween and others think im simply girly just cuz of my appearance. i personally think im inbetween.

I think I'm mroe tomboy cause I dont' wear make up, shave my legs or really dress up at all...but I mean if I had hte clothes I would dress up, but I just odn't have that many girly clothes, I donno why.
