like the first gen is a bit bigger and has 3 buttions at the top
here this is like the first gen
this is the forth gen

its all on size and buttions pretty much

the first gen ipod is this
the second gen looks the same as the first.
this is the third gen.
the first gen mini ipod is the 4 gb version
the second is the 6 gb version

then doesn't the fourth look the same as the third, and the fifth is the one out now?

no, there are only 4 generations of ipods right now...

not counting photos.

take off the buttions on the ipod and put them in the wheel and you have the 4g

well actually:

1st generation ipod mini= 4 gb

2nd gen ipod mini= 4 gb, 6gb, but both with a 'new' chipset.
