Yeah, I just figured I'd say where I stand on the subject, since nothing really needs to be said...Sorry though. Cut me some slack. Only been here a few days...and I don't wish to type out a bunch of reasons why he sucks that have already been mentioned over and over...

My main reason though?

He uses religious language more than any President in our history...Including manipulating phrases in the gospel so they fit his speeches...I guess I SHOULD have posted this the first time. Again, sorry.

If you wanna read some information I've gathered Checki this link...

Bush hasn't done a thing for the country...yep, it true. Not a single thing that's noteworthy in my opinion. Here's my list:

1) He cut funding for education after he passed the No Child Left Behind act, which requires all kids in grades 3-8 to take tests in reading and math every year. How can anyone expect decent results on these tests when there's not enough money to go around for things like textbooks and qualified teachers???

2) He passed the Patriot Act and is trying to reinstate it. The Patriot Act made it possible for the government to really look into your life and arrest you without just cause, all under the guise of "homeland security". Patriot Act 2, the "reinstatement" is much worse.

3) Bush and his whole family are "in cahoots" with the Bin Ladens and the Saudi royals. They started the "war on terror" to make some money and take control of the oil trade.

4) He passed this H.R.3162, a bill which killed our Fourth Amendment rights.

5) He's opened the borders and made it easier, not harder, for people from "good ol' boy" countries like Mexico and Saudi Arabia, to get into the US.

6) His administration is trying to reinstate the draft. It has also blocked the retirement of many soldiers to keep its numbers up.

There is such a thing as the "New World Order" and Bush is part of it. The war on terror is part of it. The American people will become part of it if they are not careful. Anyone who thinks that the Bush admin. knows best is being misled. Severely misled. Just like anyone who honestly thinks that Kerry could have done any better is being misled. Kerry is Bush's cousin, they both went to Yale (Kerry a few years before Bush), and they both belonged to Skull and Bones. They are politcal allies, not opponents and the election was a farse.

As far as my opinion goes on how well Bush handled 9/11, what exactly did he handle? Not a damn thing, truthfully. He broke the news to the American people with a straight face, we got the day outta school, and before we knew it, there were terror threats everywhere. Then came the little color-coded terror threat level thing, which is purposely designed to instill more fear into the American people to make us easier to rule over. Then, as soon as it could be done, a bunch of troops were sent to Afghanistan to "get Bin Laden". When that mission was dead, they declared war on Iraq and have been over there following false leads and killing people who oppose them or just "accidently" killing them by dropping bombs on their homes.

Bush has accomplished nothing, except for building a society of fear.

yes, becuase bush is himself on of those rich leberals
and lowering axes for rich leberals isn't good.
and he highers axes! how terrible. imagine, if instead, he were raising taxes.

last time i checked, there wasn't much oil in AL. not much of forests either, here in sweet home alabama.

sepleting is a terrible thing.

could you try to check for typos? a bit?

We can hardly have a debate with just opinions. At least give us some facts. If you have nothing factualy to say or that others already said what you wanted, at least quote them so we can better understand where you're coming from...

This would be a very good debate if you hadn't stated it in such an imature mannor. _dry.gif

But I do believe he is a horrible president. I have agreed with none of his thoughts and I do not blieve he has what's best for this country in mind. mad.gif

Did you prewrite that reply with a crayon? Ok, I'm being a jerk for no apparent reason (sorry).

Although I am on your side when it comes to opposing W as the president of our country, that claim that EVERYTHING he does is wrong and will put an end to our existence as a human race is rather absurd. I ask you this. How do you think it would've been if Kerry were in office?

The lesser of two evils indeed.

I much much much prefered Kerry. I think he could have been a much better president. I'm definatly a democrat.

Edit::
I disagree with everything Bush does (at least that I know of).

I can't think of anything he's done that I actually aprove of.

I was just wondering something...

How can you say you like Bush as a president when presidential duties are pretty much all about polotics but you don't know anything about polotics?

I don't know Bush personally so I can't say that I hate him as a person because I don't know him like that. I'm not saying he's a bad person in general. I just think that he's a horrible president. And I think he has some bad morals, too. But, that's just me (and MANY other people). whistling.gif

But, how do you know him?

Oh yeah.. Forgot to say this......

Just because Bush is a "cool man" does not make him a good president. We are talking about him as a government official. Not as a person in general.

Well, allow me to go more in depth with my opinion.

Have you not noticed how America's economy is gradually, but quickly lowering? Apparently not. This is due mostly because of the "war" in Iraq. What this douche doesn't see is that we have many problems on our own land. When he was told to "think outside the box" he took it a bit too far.

Also, let me educate you on education. Bush just passed an act called "No Child Left Behind" that puts everyone on a standard level. When I say everyone, I mean everyone. There are kids in my school with Down's syndrom that had to take the same standardized test as the rest of the eighth grade students. They can get held back for the grades they have. Their condtion will never allow them to pass the eighth grade. How much more stupid can you get to make everyone, even children with conditions that cannot do their work properly because it's just not mentally possible for them?!

Let me educate you a little on my hometown. I live in a little city called "Philadelphia, Pennsylvania." Now, don't get me wrong, there are very many good parts of Philly. But, not where I live. I live in North Philly which is known to be the worst part. More specificly, a little tiny borrow of N. Philly called "Fishtown." (No. It does not smell like fish. I do not know why they named it that. *rolls eyes*) We can just assume that Fishtown isn't the best place in the world. We'll call it... the ghetto. I remember my mom was driving my brother and I to school one day. We passed this corner with this huge teddy bear, balloons, and a bunch of other things. We questioned it but pretty much left it at that. We had seen and joked about it for a long time because nothing had been stolen or anything like that (which is odd for Fishtown considering the fact that my mom's car has been broken into three times in the last two years. *rolls eyes again*). I forget how my mom found out, but apparently a lady told her that someone had been murdered there and family and friends and people who didn't even know the person had left out things such as that. Also, let me take you back to 2001. My uncle was in his motorcycle clubhouse. This motorcycle group was a good one. Wheels of Sould, Philadelphia Chapter. They did the best they could to get drugs off the streets, raised money for hospitals, etc. They were not the steriotypical "motorcycle gang." They were having a party at the clubhouse one night. A man comes in. He's high and demanding people to let him join. They know what's going on and take him outside and telll him to leave. He goes with little fight. Around ten minutes later, he comes back. He pulls out a gun and shoots my uncle. Flat in the stomach. He died about two hours later. My aunt was left devistated to raise a six year old girl. Also, a couple of months ago, on the news... Let me tell you what happened. There was this highschool boy. According to many people, he was a very good guy. He got good grades in school and everyone loved him. There was a rap contest outside his school. He lost and owed money to a guy. Eventually, the guy shot him outside the school
Obviously, no one can put the blame on any president for these situations. But President Bush needs to stop worrying about the Middle East and start focusing on our country. Here and now. Putting money towards education and safer communities rather than bombs.

QUOTE
Bombing for peace is like f*cking for virginity.

That's true enough (in most cases) but I don't even think that he's "bombing for peace." The a-hole is bombing for oil. mad.gif Not like I have any proof, but it's apparent enough to most peole.

That is my debate. Say what you wish. stubborn.gif
