absolute value is really easy! it is just the distance the number is from 0. here are some examples:
|4| = 4 the absolute value of 4 is 4. |384784| = 384784 the absolute value of 384784 is 384784. |-74| = 74 the absolute value of negative 74 value is 74. get it? |

absolute values just making numbers positive... So numbers that are positive stay postive, while numbers that are negative change to positive

it just means the number positive. If they are in the bars, it means the answer has to be positive.
if it was: l -4 l the absolute value would just be 4. |

Absolute Value: the Distance of the number from Zero.
as in Absolute Value of -7 = |7| while absolute value of 7 is |7| get it? |
