same here. the movie was in black and white.
i first read it during the sixth grade summer, but i found it boring,
this year (9th) we had to read it again, and amazingly, i found it pretty good.
the way they put the symbols, the anticipation, yeah. _smile.gif

Yeah I read it. I'm not sure if it's required throughout the schools and such but we had to read it in my class. I loved that book.

I just read that book (because its my 10th grade year) and I thought the book was fairly good. It made me shout out how stupid some of the characters were which i can understand becaue there little kids. But if a book can do that then to me thats a pretty good book.

to kill a mockingbird is a good book, why are you complaining?  Teaches you how messed up racism was back then.

Yea, i read it in 10th grade.  I only got one thing out of that "you can't judge a man till you've walked in his shoes" ;p

Just finished reading it. I thought it was extremely good. Most of you read it in 7th or 9th grade? Wow, we're sophomores and just finished it.

Just finished reading it about three weeks ago, and we saw the movie. Of course, the movie is nothing compared to the book in my opinion. GREAT BOOK!! READ IT

yeah, it was a pretty good book; far from one of my favorites, however. it's nicely written, but just not my "type" of novel.
