Bush is alrite, I mean sure we didnt find the WMDs but alot of good has come out of Iraq. Theres now a developing democracy in Afghanistan and Iraq, and they better Human rights now and we've now established new allies in the region.

What does Bush being a christian have to do with anything? So what if he's a christian or not?

Wow, Sammi made a point I agree with.  That's a first.. happy.gif

The gas prices when Clinton left offices were around $1.82.

In my state they're $1.90.  I can stomach an 8 cent increase.

the gas price in new york is 2 buckos!!!!!!!

u dont understand the real issue and real reasons behind the decisions that people make....

this is ALL for the interest of the US, nothing more....u think Bush, Cheney and Rumsfeld actually gives a damn about the people in Iraq? are they doing it really because they care? then why dont they "liberate" Cuba and North Korea? its cuz they arent swimming in oil like Iraq is...

Bush made the desicion based on that.....oil.....of course, nobody says it out loud, but its the truth, every government official, politician, knows and understands this....

Okay, I'm sorry.  I guess I should take your opinion over those of Montesqieu and Rosseau...

Philosophers must've had it all wrong..

Probably why Europe was such a failure for 4,000 years... (no sarcasm  rolleyes.gif )
*

you keep mentioning europe...

but they have the european union that sets interest rates. which is against laissez-faire, is it not?

the principle of laissez-faire is good, but not in it's entirety. in it's entirety it is an extreme. which is usually bad.

everything.
all of his opinions are based from his beliefs.
example: he wants gay marriage to be outlawed, that comes straight from his beliefs and the bible.

Sammi -- I didn't mean that by making a point I agree with you're not stupid. Disagreeing with what you say doesn't mean that what you say is stupid. I'd be an a-hole to think that.

Sadolacked Acid -- Europe has the EU, the United States has the USITC (U.S. International Trade Commission), the DOR and DOI (Depts. of Revenue and Income), and several other methods of charging interests, appointing tariffs, and holding down the 'extreme' of laissez-faire.

It's strange, because Democrats seem to crave more rights and power, and strangling laissez-faire takes your economic forte away.

Nice logic there, gotnoheart.  You, as well as everyone else who brings up trite excuses to dislike the president has absolutely no use of facts.

But oh well, people have hated presidents for generations.  This new 'hate Bush' fad is nothing different.

ok well maybe i exaggerated; blindly disliking then. i usually relate blindly liking/disliking something to not-so-smart people.

Yes that n*gga sucks. Bush has gotten many soldiers killed for no apparent reason. I support our troops but I do not support the war. How the hell do you go over to someone else's country and have them establish your form of government. Thats no different from forcing religion on someone. Our Troops should come home they have done their jobs. THERE R NO WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION. AND JUST LIKE THE UNITED STATES DID WHEN ITS GOVERNMENT WAS ESTABLISHED LET THE PEOPLE DECIDE. Besides why are we picking on a country that is defenseless? Why doesn't Bush attack Russia and retreive their weapons of mass destruction. PROBALY BECAUSE THEY HAVE WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION AND ARE NOT AFRAID AND WILL USE THEM AGAINST US IF WE OPPOSE. Which means Bush knew this was not about IRAQI FREEDOM nor WEAPONS OF MASS DESTRUCTION, but about oil. If he was so concerned with Iraqi citizens freedom then why did he establish the patriot act in the United States? HMMMMMMMM.................. I wonder
