Yes yes, I know that copying is supposed to be one of the biggest forms of flattery, but how many of you know people who copy you or someone else you know? They can't seem to have their own personality, sense of style, or be an individual. Instead, they have to do everything someone else does. And I'm not talking about little things, but more in an almost extreme way. I mean I have a best friend and we were totally different but now it's like she's morphed into a "mini-me", to the point that people say we look the same, act the same, talk the same, and even get us confused. It's pretty sickening. But yeah, do you know someone like that? Share your stories =]

it's incredibly annoying... this girl whos a year younger than me used to follow me and buy the same clothes as me.. it wasnt like she was stalking me, but it was pretty annoying.

I have this friend who cant live without making sure she knows everyone that I know. And she always claims that others are copying her; when she does the same exact things. Its annoying; and no one even really copies her.

Well, there is this one girl. Shes kinda, well, the outcast. In 8th grade, she copied my friend Savannah. She started dressing in the clothes she wore, which where kinda hippish, and started studing wiccin, because Sav was wiccin. Then, freshman year, she started to dress like me. Which is mostly just jeans and a nice shirt, and she let her hair grow out since mine is long, and she acted like i did, and used my phrases. Now she acts like my friend Tiffany. LOL! She has the whole "I'm emo" look which i what she thinks Tiffnay is going for. Yeah, so this isn't just a "hunch"

back when i was a sevie and a lot of 5th and 6th grade there was a lot of copycat action going on but nowadays everyones grown more so i dont see a lot of it happening here including me too.

Well, my friends are pratically copying the way I draw. What I draw, and the poses I draw.

I know two girls in my class like that. One girl argh ticks me off...tries to be like everyone, she's even copied me a few times, too. She started wearing those live strong barcelets, got fake [you can tell they're fake] uggs, and alot more. A "friend" of mine is trying to be like another friend of mine. It's annoying. Extremely annoying and stressful. She tries to be like her so effin much. The music['cause she still likes the stuff disney produced and all but we, meaning everyone else of our friends, morphed out of that in like 4th or 3rd grade], she wore the same shoes as her, same hair style, bought lunch everday 'cause she use to take lunch to school, started wearing the same school v-sweatshirt [we wear uniforms] and a whole bunch, it annoys the hell out of me.

it's quite ironic, because its flattering if someone is copying you, but you also feel used and upset because some people take your style and call it their own.

i'm a sophomore, and there's this freshman who follows me a lot and copies some of my things. at first it was just her cell phone and calculator, which i didn't think of much because anyone could get the same cell phone and calculator as you...but then it was the style, the music tastes, attitude, clothes...all this stuff.

YEs it was getting scary after a while.

She knew what clothes what I was going to wear EVERY single day. Then by she goes, "Well, I guess great minds think alike, eh?".
After a while I grew tired of my long hair, because she had long hair too. So I decided to put in a bun. Then weeks after that, she started with my hairstyle. I was getting scared, but I guess I brushed it off.

Oh yea, on my backpack, it had a button that says "Too Cool 4 U" Somehow mysteriously, the button disappeared, and mysteriously appared on the girl's backpack. I was like, "WTF?! Where did it go?"

So then weeks later, she in turn called ME, the Copy Cat. I hate her

these two girls copied my aim font every time i changed it, but they don't anymore now that i'm using tnr. guess it's not good enough for them.

and this other girl copied my screen name. we both have the same last name (shih, pronounced she) so then when i changed my screen name to "suddenly she" she made hers "suddenly shih." people get us confused now and it's kinda annoying since some people think i'm her, and ignore me because they think that. she's not really a bad person though.

lots other stories. i just don't feel like it..

oh and please don't im her and yell at her. she's still my friend, even if she does copy me.

Some people at my school copy all the music I listen to.
I'll be listening to Children of Bodom and someone will ask me what I'm listening to. I'll tell them. The next day, they're all "yaaaaa, I'm such a HUUUUGE fan of Children of Bodom!!!11!1111" or something to that effect. I realize people can like the same music I do, but they don't know anything about the band. They just think it's cool to have a huge-assed list of bands they like.

oh yeah, and to add to my already-too-long list: she actually had the nerve to say to one of my friends that I copied her sn. well, she's two years too late.
