Yes yes, I know that copying is supposed to be one of the biggest forms of flattery, but how many of you know people who copy you or someone else you know? They can't seem to have their own personality, sense of style, or be an individual. Instead, they have to do everything someone else does. And I'm not talking about little things, but more in an almost extreme way. I mean I have a best friend and we were totally different but now it's like she's morphed into a "mini-me", to the point that people say we look the same, act the same, talk the same, and even get us confused. It's pretty sickening. But yeah, do you know someone like that? Share your stories =]

There used to be a girl who sat across the room from me. I was starting to get stressed about school work so I would bring embroidery floss and make friendship bracelets like I used to when I was in elementary school. Well, she thought it was "hot" so she decides to start doing it. All of a sudden she starts following me around and trying to dress like me, wear her hair like me, and buy the same buttons that I pin on my bag. I was like, "Hunny, I think it's sweet that you look up to me, but please, scamper off and be your own person."

IT WAS SO ANNOYING! Not to mention scary.

There's this one chick.. I hate to think that way though, because it just er.. I don't know. I just hate feeling selfish. But yes, sometimes I know they're doing so, and I try to ignore it. It's never gone to the extent where.. someone just flat out copies my outfits, hairstyle, or something.. that is just really obvious.

There are 2 people I know that are like that, and I think theres a third. New kid at school that I decided to befriend. Ever since though I've seen him "biting" my style. Im serious, he dresses like me now. Occasionaly I would wear a grey sweater with black khakis, he just popped up behind me and I saw him wearing the same exact thing just two sizes smaller. He gets the exact same crap I buy, now hes trying to hang where I hang and befriend all my friends. _dry.gif annoying really...

she always tries to talk like me, and agrees with what i say when she disagrees in general.
it doesn't seem like a big deal, but trust me..

yesss. It's never gone extreme or anything. Mostly things like I say a phrase or something, then they begin to?

My friend thinks everyone copies her..like she starts these trends or something. Like whenever there is a big new trend she's like "I started that". It's actually..kind of annoying sometime because when like it get's around the country obviously she didn't start it.

Well, it's not really your friend's fault. If you spend alot of time together, people essentially become like eachother..

But if like, someone dresses like you and purposely acts like you, then I cannot stand that stubborn.gif

And jockers ... _dry.gif

Yes! There is this girl, well, she tries way to hard to fit in, so she copies everyone, and me. At first, she didn't even know about Hollister, or whatever, until i told her about it. Later, she went to Hollister to buy stuff there because other people did. Also, my friend, she loves Hello Kitty, so then this girl just started to like Hello Kitty as well. And when my friend said that wood pencils are in, she started to buy all these wood pencils. It's really sad, yet pathetic.
