perhaps, but one can never talk about how they hate norcross enough. i got mad the other day about new science curriculum which led me to thinking about my chem grade, which made me think about my algebra grade, which left me crying hysterically. ok, thats irrelevant, but if i wnet to another school, i wouldnt have to deal with this shit

you should be proud of where you come from. You can always move anyway. stop complaining, you probably come from a great home.

that really wasnt what i meant. of course you have to take aglegbra and chem in other schools

the key part of a was that i was born here, and so there is no reason that i should have to be proud of that. thats not necessarily an opinion, becuase i wasnt referring to myself, even if i made it sound like it by using personal pronouns

and c is not an opinion at all, and isnt meant to prove anything either, except that he has not evidence that she comes from a great home, and even if she did, that has nothing to do with this

of course its an opinion. you think that being born somewhere isnt reason to be proud of it. the other person disagees. opposing opinions

yes, but everything is an opinion, so what does that matter. even facts are opinions when someone disagrees. one opinion can certainly be more correct than the other, but that doesnt make them opinions any less. take, for example, the debate on christianity and catholicism in debate. kris and i had opposing opinions, and while mine was right and factual, it was an opinion nonetheless because it was her incorrect opinion that was wrong

thats a load of crap.

'my t-shirt is blue' that is not an opinion, its a fact.

'i look good in blue' is an opinion. and the flip side, 'i dont look good in blue' cannot be said to be more or less correct, except by people who hold the first opinion, which therefore subjects their view, significantly weakening their argument

but its less factual to someone who is colorblind

to a dog (dont they see colors differently? if not, substitue other animal here) it doesnt appear blue, but whatever color they see is their reality. its fact to them, reguardless of what the majority sees.

of course its not. just because someone is unable to observe the fact doesnt mean the fact isnt true. i t just means that the fact is less useful to them

if i shout near a deaf person, that is a fact. i ahev just shouted. just bc a deaf person didnt hear it, doent mean i didnt do it

what? thats complete speculation. lets pick another atribute. my ruler is twelve inches long. its in another room. i cant see it. therefore, if i choose to say that the ruler isnt twelve inches long, then does that mean that the ruler's length has been altered? b/c its not an opinion that the ruler is a different length. its denial, or incorrectness.

but theres always the doubt. it could have been a defective ruler, and not in fact have been 12 inches long, and you wouldnt know that because you were in another room. thus, you could argue with someone in the room that it was that length and have your opinion be incorrect. nothing is ever truly factual, theres always that margin of error

no nicki. im saying that this ruler was 12 inches long.

i could argue that it wasnt. but it would be an OPINION. it would be a falsehood, or a misinterpretation, or just being wrong.

for instance. you saying that being born somewhere isnt reason to be proud of that place, cannot be proved one way or the other. opinion.
you saying my t-shirt isnt blue. i could show you the shirt, and prove you incorrect.

facts can be proven, opinions cannot truly be proven one way or the other

that would be why were having this disagreement then. because i was not saying that being born in a place isnt a reason to be proud, i was saying that just because you were born somewhere, it doesnt mean you have to be proud of it. if you were born in the slums, would you have to be proud of it just because you were born there? of course not.

Jose likes Norcal girls! Haha.

I like being a norcal girl.. but I don't really see a difference from a socal girl and norcal girl besides the fact that norcal girls say "hella" and "hecka". :]

I've been living in Las Vegas over half of my life. I can't say I love it very much, but I am not ashamed. It's interesting to see people's impressions of what people of Las Vegas are like. Sometimes, I hate how the people here are unfriendly.

I am however, truly proud of being from Canada. Everything there makes me want to show off to the world that I am from there.

It's really your choice whether you are proud or not...but since you're living there anyway, life is just harder if you don't appreciate it.
