it is kinda weird.. but my parents never really told me i couldn't touch fire... and when I was younger, they'd still light the fireworks for me.

Hahaha, well, I never got fireworks until I was a bit older...like 9 or 10...
When I was 5 I lit a match from a match book. The hiss that it made scared me and I dropped it on a towel. NATURALLY, the towel caught fire. I guess you can say that was a deterrent for me. |

My parents never told me no. Nor did they give me fireworks, but, when my brother was born, (the freaking golden child) he got them, and I was like, um, wtf???

yeah, thats true, on halloween were allowed to play with sparklers, our parents just hand them to use, but still lecture on and on about putting it in a bucket of water

I may sound repeditive, but my parents never really told me I couldn't play with fire... sometimes, they go all psyco and blow out all the candles, but otherwise they dont really say much about it... or they didn't until my mom knocked a candle over and set a dish towel on fire. Now they just dont put candles around her anymore!

aren't firecrackers illegal if it's for personal use or something...?
 my parents would never give me those things nor would i want them, i'm not going to lose some fingers just so i can lose my hearing because of a firecracker |
