Underground is: any type of music that isn`t mainstream. I doubt you`d ever see "underground" music on MTV or hear it on a radio station.

I know music is about quality, but the only music I like just so happens to be underground.

What about you? Do you listen to underground?

If so, which bands?

//edit:

I`ll just name the first ones that come to mind: Brown Eyed Deception, Runaway Orange, Saosin, Cauterize, Sherwood, My American Heart, and The Snake The Cross The Crown.

xo, Pauline

Heh. I really like their "Mega Colon". For some reason, I love electro songs with... erm, dirty-ish lyrics. ;x

Other bands:
- Gravy Train!!!
- Some Girls
- Lil' Pocket Knife
- Freezepop

I really like the "Stake Out Donnerschlang Rmx" by Freezepop.

Hm, I don't buy CDs, but I do go to a lot of shows, buy band merchandise, and try to spread the word about certain bands.

Like I have stated before, I dislike buying cds (mostly because I never actually listen to cds) In fact, the only working cd player that I own is now actually my brother's.

Sure, I could play the cd in the car, but I prefer driving in silence (one of the many reasons why I don't listen to the radio). And I could listen to it on my computer, but I already have loads of mp3s.

If you like Fischerspooner, you should totally check out the Fitness or Peaches.

Peaches - Operate
the Fitness - Analog Synths
the Fitness - Chauffuer

Know of any other good electro bands?

Eh, there's only about one Ladytron song that I like. "Seventeen".

Peaches was voted "best Electronic band of the year" in Playboy...

I know because I saw it on their website. blink.gif
