and umm..the background u chose is a little dark like..unnaturally so. maybe you could lighten up the whole thing, then feather it? so it gets thinner and thinner along the edges? |

I think it would've been better if you somehow incorporated the blog into the book itself, not just some randomly placed div layer.

No, I mean it should have a slightly transparent background to match the notebook, and be incorporated into it; it doesn't have to be perfectly straight, just in there somehow. It looks stupid ontop of the diary binder.
