*I'm not sure if this is in the right forum. If not, sorry!*
I have found TWO people who have taken my layout. I'm sure many more have as well. Anyway, this person has a site and they post up layouts that other people made. I'm fine with that, because the credits are still there. However, they then took my When Will It Be Me layout and changed the image of the little character to something else and changed the words BUT kept the same image mapping. THEN they took my credits off that were in the corner and put THEIR xanga on there. I found two people with the same layout -- the person who put their xanga as the credit instead of mine and another person who just happens to be using the same layout. The person who was using the same layout happened to comment me twice in my guestbook which is how I found out. So this is jocking right? I think so. Please go comment on their xangas and ask them to take it down. I already have but another time it took me about a month before the person finally decided to take it down; I think the message would be clearer this time if more people were to comment them about it. Thanks so much.

eh i can care less if ppl jack my layout.(onli it sux so bad why would ne one do that.) the thing is; ppl will jack layouts, robbers will continue to rob, smokers will continue to smoke, idiots will be idiots.
and theres nothing anyone can do.

Yeah I know that. But when I spend like an hour or more working hard on something and then I nicely let others use it, they shouldn't abuse the privlege. And I might not be able to stop them from continuing to jock people's layouts, however, I can make them take MY layouts off.

When they jock my layout. I just laugh it off. And just think that they have no life haha. Well if they said that they make it. I'll think that they have no life or they don't got no skills in them. I remember when someone jocked my autumn boa layout... I was laughing my heads off and I said to myself "Wow, she actually loves my layout. I feel special" harhar.

hah. i like that. idk..i'd hate it if someone jocked my layout.

whoa..they actually "jocked" a lot of other cB-ers layouts. i mean, they sort of credited you guys, but would it still be jocking?

I like EMily's idea, sign your layouts, that way at least they can ttake credit even if they do steal the layout

u should put ur name on everysingle little thing. so its impossible to steal.... like for your banner or something put your xanga username on it also. thats what i do.

That used to really piss me off when people jocked, but now it doesn't bother me that much because people have jocked my stuff and I dunno, it's just not that big of a deal...even though I'm sure you worked hard on it. So, that kinda sucks.

disgraceful, yea i know how it feels when someone jocks your layout. it's pretty fusterating and there is nothing much you can do about it unless if everyone in cB send mean comments =]..

ugh, she even blocked the credits for her cursor with that music thing _dry.gif why do people feel the need to have to pretend they made something? it's going to bite them in the ass later on in life because someone is going to want to request a layout from her

They didn't really alter the image that much. They kept the navigation I wrote and they kept my same image mapping.
